Please comment and rate =)) "You're definitely going to find someone like Harrison one day." Michelle my best friend forever said one bright summer afternoon in my room. To be quite honest I was tired of hearing about Harrison (her newest boyfriend). I mean, he's a great guy and all but her continuously telling me how I was going to find a guy some day didn't really help matters. "Ugh, I don't think so." I moaned. "You will." she said enthusiastically. I pretended to not be annoyed. "Yeah? I' m not so sure about that." I said. Nor do I really care, I thought. "OH, I'm sure you will. It's just I'm so lucky to have found Harrison so early in life and all, I mean we'll get to go to college together and everything. How lucky can a girl get?" she sighed happily. "I don't know." I said as I cracked my neck in annoyance. "Your Gran would have been happy." I said the thought of whom brought tears near the surface, which I hastily blinked away. I was always the strong one one things got rough, I didn't show vulnerability nor allow my emotions to go unchecked. "Hmmm." she suspiciously grinned. "What?" I asked knowing she probably had some sort of crazy plan. Actually, her plans were usually more sane then mine ;(. "Okay, so you know how Gran was all in to her spirit resting here on the earth? I think we should try to summon her." okay. This plan was the craziest either of us had ever come up with, not to mention the most impossible. "Haha. You're joking right?" I asked confused. "I just miss her so much Leigh. I never really got to say goodbye, you know?" she sighed looking distant. "Um, I'm not sure this is such a good idea. You know, tampering with the dead and all that stuff, could come back to bite ya in the... nevermind" "Oh, it'll be fine. What's the worst that could happen?" "I don't know. What if you accidentally summon the devil or something?" I said dramatically. "Please. You don't even believe in the devil." she grinned "It's still no reason to go summoning him." "But we aren't, so don't worry." "I never worry, remember?" I grinned. "Yeah." she squealed squishing me in a hug. "You're the bestest friend ever." "Bestest isn't a word." I mumbled.
"See ya at eight by the old pond. Don't be late!" she called as she left. That's the end of chapter one! Chapter two coming soon.
I hope I didn't bore you to death =(.
