Hi! Welcome to my new story "Infallible". I finally got Apartment Life, and to celebrate, here is a story about Witches and Warlocks. Please comment and rate, I hope you enjoy it! I was an ordinary young woman. My name was Tamara Summers. I had a beautiful little cottage. I befriended an elderly Witch. She was an Infallibly Good Witch, and she thought I was a very Good young lady. She said I would have potential as a Good Witch. So I asked the Infallibly Good Witch to teach me the Ways of the Light. I wanted to be a Witch. An Infallibly Good Witch. I wanted to help others with Good spells. She agreed to transform me. I was lifted into the air, and there was a flash of light surrounding me, and I was transformed into a Nice Witch. In accordance with Witch custom I was given a second name, which the Infallibly Good Witch chose. She named me Rose. "From now on," she said, "You will be known as Tamara Rose Summers the Nice Witch. Do well and you will become a Good Witch. If you persevere you will become an Infallibly Good Witch, as powerful as I." The Witch gave me a cauldron and a spell book. "But," she warned me, golden sparkles shining brightly on her skin and a beautiful blue glow surrounding her, "You must only use your power for Good. You must be selfless and help others, to become like me. And you must never be friends with or even associate with Evil Witches and Warlocks. They are bad creatures who use their power only for themselves, or to cause pain to others." Day and night I studied the spell book, learning the Ways of the Light. I did not learn any Evil spells, nor did I learn any spells that would benefit me. I learnt only spells that would help others. Soon I became a Good Witch, and my skin sparkled. And eventually, all my hard work paid off. I became an Infallibly Good Witch, even more powerful than the one who transformed me. My skin sparkled bright and golden, and I glowed blue for all to see. I was 'Tamara Rose Summers the Infallibly Good Witch'. I encouraged all the townsfolk to come to me, saying I would help them with whatever they needed. There was one woman who was terribly ill. In my cauldron I created all the ingredients needed to cast a spell to cure her. Then when I was ready I cast the spell. And she was instantly healthy. There was the man who was overweight and told me that the doctors had said unless he became fit very quickly he would not live for much longer. For a moment I wondered why he could not just exercise, but then I remembered that I was an Infallibly Good Witch, and I must try and help everyone who needed it. So I cast the spell to make him thin. But one day I received a very unexpected visitor. It was an Atrociously Evil Warlock! "My name is Kyle Lachlan Howell the Atrociously Evil Warlock," he said. "And I need your help." "I won't help you!" I exclaimed in surprise. "You are ATROCIOUSLY Evil! I must not even fraternize with you at all. Please leave, before my Infallible Goodness is tainted by your Atrocious Evilness." "Please!" he said. "I do not want to be Evil! You are an Infallibly Good Witch and I have heard talk of your amazing power. Please, can you transform me into a Good Warlock?" I was struck by how sincere he sounded. Could he really want to be Good instead of Evil? I let him come in and explained that there was no spell to make an Evil Witch or Warlock be Good, or vice versa. He was very disappointed. I asked him, "If you want to be Good, then why did you choose to become Atrociously Evil?" "It was a terrible and careless decision I made when I was younger," he said. "My name was Kyle Howell. I was selfish and spiteful, and when I met and befriended an Atrociously Evil Witch I asked her to teach me the Path of Darkness." "She agreed and transformed me." "She gave me the second name of Lachlan. So I became Kyle Lachlan Howell the Mean Warlock." "But it wasn't good enough for me. I wanted to be an Atrociously Evil Warlock." "Soon, I became Evil and my skin turned green." "And then I became Kyle Lachlan Howell the Atrociously Evil Warlock. My skin was bright green and I glowed an even brighter green." "I enjoyed casting spells that would hurt others." "I made them be chased by bees." "I possessed them and made them do the most idiotic things for my own amusement." "But everyone avoided me. I had no friends. I became lonely." "I realised the error of my ways, and I wanted to change myself. I wanted to be Good. I wanted to help others and somehow make up for all the Evil I had done." "I went into town to ask if there were any Good Witches or Warlocks who could help me. The townsfolk were all afraid of me and ran away except for one woman. She said that you, Tamara Rose Summers, had cured her of illness and that perhaps you could help me," he finished. "And so here I am." "Well, I'm sorry," I said. "But there's no spell to make you Good." But he looked at me so sadly that I sighed. "But... I suppose I can try." So he stayed in my cottage, sleeping on the couch at night. I studied my spell book for days on end, even studying Evil and Neutral spells in the hope of finding a spell to make Kyle Lachlan a Good Warlock. But I made sure to study enough Good spells as well so I would stay Infallibly Good. We experimented. I cast countless spells, trying to find the right combination of ingredients. We discussed different ideas and possibilities together. I tried to stay distant but, against my will, I ended up finding that I liked him. We became friends, even though we both knew it was against the rules. Not only was it against the rules, but it was completely Atrocious! I was surprised that I was not becoming Evil myself. It was terrible! He was Kyle Lachlan Howell the Atrociously Evil Warlock. And I was Tamara Rose Summers the Infallibly Good Witch. One day I was just discussing if it would work if we took away his Warlock powers completely and then transformed him in a Good Warlock from there, when he suddenly pulled me towards him. "Tamara Rose, thankyou for helping me and taking me in," he said. "You are a brilliant and beautiful and Good Witch." And he kissed me. From then on it just got worse. We were falling in love, Good and Evil, and that was the worst kind of Evil imaginable. But... it's not like I tried to stop it. No, I didn't try at all. I didn't deserve to be called an Infallibly Good Witch. 'Infallible' meant unfailing; incapable of making mistakes. But I knew I was making the hugest mistake of my life. I was completely selfish. I didn't deserve to even be alive. But whenever we touched, I forgot all of that. I was hardly even a Nice Witch. Hardly even a Neutral Witch. I was Mean. I was Evil. No - I was Atrociously Evil. And neither of us tried to stop. Tamara Rose Summers the Infallibly Good Witch, was in love with Kyle Lachlan Howell the Atrociously Evil Warlock. Good and Evil. Golden and green. We were complete opposites, totally incompatible, yet we fit together so perfectly. Weeks went on like this. During the day we researched to find the spell to make him Good, and at night... well. But, seemingly, none of the spells worked. Until one evening, when we were doing something that was no doubt Atrociously Evil... I pulled away in shock. "Your glow is gone!" I exclaimed. "Your green glow... it's gone!" "That can only mean one thing! You are now just Kyle Lachlan Howell the Evil Warlock! You're less Evil - the spells are working!" With a new fervor we practiced and practiced. But to our surprise, the spells were making no difference! Our confused discussions went on long into the night. We could not figure out why... But soon his skin turned back to its original color! We didn't know why, but he was becoming less Evil. Now he was just a Mean Warlock. One day I was very surprised to see Kyle Lachlan's clothes change color before my eyes! They changed from being black to grey - he was now a Neutral Warlock! Just 'Kyle Lachlan Howell the Warlock'. And again, he had changed for no apparent reason. But the biggest surprise came when his clothes changed again. They had become white and gold! "Tamara, look! I've become Kyle Lachlan Howell the Nice Warlock!" he exclaimed with a wide smile. "That's amazing!" I said with an equally happy smile. "I don't know what is causing it, but you're becoming more Good all the time!" Suddenly, before my eyes, golden sparkles appeared on his skin. "Kyle, you're not just Nice, you've become Good!" I was blissfully happy now. He had become Good! "But, why...?" "I can answer that." We both looked up and to our surprise we saw the Infallibly Good Witch who had transformed me so long ago! We both jumped up. "You see, my dear Tamara Rose," said the Witch, "You are very powerful and wise but have much to learn about the power of Love." "The Love you have with Kyle Lachlan is true and Good." "And because of Good Love, you, Kyle Lachlan, have become Good. You cannot stay Evil because your heart truly and purely Loves." "And Love is Infallibly Good." And, there and then, Kyle kissed me. And when he pulled away he was surrounded by a blue glow. "Kyle!" I exclaimed in excitement. "You are glowing!" He looked down at himself, as I added, "You've become Infallibly Good! Kyle, you are Kyle Lachlan Howell the Infallibly Good Warlock!" "Love is Infallibly Good Magic," murmured the wise Witch as she flew out of sight on her broomstick. "Remember that." We did remember. --- "Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends, never fails." - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 --- Love does not rejoice in Evil but in Good. Love is Infallible. The End! Thanks goes to all the talented custom content makers! (Especially Grassmen on Mod the Sims 2, who made the Extended Cottage Box Starter House which I used as Tamara Rose's cottage). Hope you enjoyed my story, please comment and rate! :)
