yay! After my hard disk crashing, facing several exams and finall graduating from college, I'm back!
Once again thanks for all the creators of the CC used here. Please read the previous chapters to fully understand the story. Anyway if you've noticed some of the settings (like their house, the museum), and the faces of the characters have changed. Everything disappeared ever since my hard disk crashed last December so it was back from scratch and I cant find some of the CC i used previously. Anywayz, hope you'll enjoy this one.
After encountering a painter from the museum the sisters knew that Lucretia is constantl on the move. What will Lucretia throw agaisnt the mages next?

Lizzie watched as Jane explained to Riven what just really happened. The painter, the medallion, the sisters being mages. She also revealed to Riven the family's secret. Riven accepted everything that Jane said, it may seem impossibel but he saw everything a while ago. he was relieved and thankful that Jane and Lizzie saved his life from that mad painter. "thank you once again for saving that soul from that painter." said Mr. Peregrine to Lizzie. "Just promise me you'll keep our secret safe, and my sister and I will take those vampires and ghouls down."noted Lizzie. Mr. Peregrine laughed and replied. "Your secret is safe with me.Now, tell me more about those vampires and what they're up to." inside the gallery, Savannah was carefully noting the inscriptions in a sarcophagus that was to be displayed. One of the artists, brandi, approached her. "it's getting late Van, the others have already left. I'll be back tomorrow.Uh..what are you-?"asked Brandi as Savannah hyped in. "After the rain, this sarcophagus has been acting strange, let's see."she thought as she read aloud the inscrpitions . A sound of thunder roared from the sky. "What the-"shrieked Brandi as the sarcophagus opened. Dust flew out from the sacrophagus, Svannah and Brandi couldnt believe what they saw and screamed in unsion as a wrapped person rose. The others from the outside heard the screams from the inside. Riven, Jane, Mr. Peregrine and Lizzie quickly rushed in and saw Brandi and Savannah panicking with the sarcophagus, wide open. "What happened?" asked Riven. "Van read something from the sarcophagus! Then a mummy rose!"exclaimed Brandi as her voice trembled. "A mummy?That can't be."murmured Jane. "It must have been a burglar or something. Someone must have stolen the priceless mummy inside and tried to scare you away."thought Riven. "Jane, it's getting late, you and Lizzie should go. I'll have to check the security cameras and ask the guards around so we can know what really happened. Brandi and Savannah would be staying here for tonight. They dont feel so good." spoke Riven as Mr. Peregrine volunteered to stay as well. "I understand."said Jane as she turned to Lizzie. Lizzie was staring at the open sarcophagus. She felt a strange tingling senstaion as she lloked on. She clutched her medallion tightly. "somethings's not right."she whispered as Jane called for her to go home. As Lizzie and Jane returned to their home, Riven was trying to calm Brandi and Savannah down. They settled in the 2nd floor's living room. "Make yourselves at home here guys. You deserve the rest you need as we sort things that just happened." said Riven.
Brandi and Mr. Peregrine headed to get some drinks and food in the kitchen as Savannah stood and confronted Riven.
"You dont believe us, dont you? You think that brandi and I are making it up."
Riven shook his head as no.
"Actually, a lot of strange things have been happening lately. I think they're probably connected. Dont worry, I'll sort this out somehow.."he assured her.
"I hope so.."whispered Savannah as she decided to head to the bathroom. Savannah washed her hands then took a brush. She looked herself in the mirro and brushed her hair.
"What a day..was I really seeing things?"she mumbled when a cold draft passed by her. She shivered and proceeded to brush her hair when the lights turned off.
"Oh shoot,did something happen?"she asked herself and was about to check the lights when she heard the door creak. "Riven?Brandi?"she asked when she saw something in the reflection of the mirror. "No! It can't be!"she shrieked and screamed her lungs out. laura was already fast asleep when her daughters and their guest sneaked down the newly revamped basement. There, Lizzie started to practice her magic as Emma tried to scry using a water filled cauldron.
"hopefully, some of these can help us. I'll try to see if I can get any vision from that painter of that mummy thief."she told the sisters as Lizzie started playing with flames.
"You handle fire better than I do.."noted Jane to her sister. "Dont worry sis, if anything catches on fire, I'll just use the medallion to summon a rain."kidded Lizzie.
Jane frowned. "This powers of yours is not a game, Lizzie. That's it, hand the medallion. I'll be using it for a while."
"Aw..why..?"moaned Lizzie as Jane reached out her hand. Lizzie hesistantly gave Jane the medallion. "Come over here. I've got something to give you. It might help you control your powers."said jane as she headed to one of the shelves. She picked a wooden wand and handed it to Lizzie.
"A wand?" said Lizzie questioningly. "Dad gave Henry and I wands as well. We had our inborn powers but with wands we can cast spells and control our powers even better. I guess it's time you should have one. I found it while were were revamping the basement. I guess dad meant to give to you but he-wasn't able to.."explained Jane as Lizzie checked out her wand.
"Thank you."beamed Lizzie.
"Um..guys.."called Emma as she saw faint images from the cauldron. "You better take a look it these..it seems like something's going on back at the musem.."
jane and Lizzie exchanged looks then rushed to take a look in the water. Back the musuem, Savannah managed to run away and alert the others. They soon found themselves cornered in one side of the room as the mummy slowly dragged istefl towards them, emitting horrible moans and groans along the way. Riven tried to look strong, he knew he was responsible for his fellow artists.
"Listen you thief--whatever you are..I wont let you hurt them.."he said as his voice trembled. He was a blackbelter just like his girlfriend jane, he wont go down without a fight. Then splashes of blue and pink light illuminated the room. It temporarily stunned and blinded the mummy. Riven and Mr, Peregrine smiled in relief as they saw Jane, Lizzie and their companion appearing before them.
"I knew you wont let us down."beamed Mr. peregrine. Lizzie wated no time and quickly whipped up her wand. She pointed at the tv right beside her. "Sorry, Riven."she said as the tv levitated from the floor. With a flick of her wrist, the tv was sent flying agaisnt the startled mummy. The mummy took the hit and fell on the ground.
"quickly, get the others downstair, I'll handle this."said Lizzie.
"What?You alone?"asked Jane as Lizzie shook her head. "Trust me. Just keep the others safe and find a way where did this mummy or theif came from."
The rest agreed then dashed downstiars as Lizzie breathed in and readied herself. The rest finally reached the 1st floor then Riven stopped.
"Jane, I know what Lizzie can do but I think we should help her too. That thing..doesnt seem to be a thief. We have to help her somehow." insisted Riven. "He's right. There has to be something from one of these artifacts. Savannah read somethign from the inscritions in the sarcophagus, maybe it has something to do with that." noted Brandi as she recalled the events a few hours ago.
riven agreed and told everyone to check the displays and artifacts for anything that might be able to stop the mummy. Savannah checked the replica of the legenddary medallion, she smiled then called everyone's attention.
"Guys! I've got it!" yelled Savannah. The rest except for Emma rushed to gather towards her. Emma was completely oblivious to what was being discussed, she seemed to be seeing something else.
"I heard of a legend about that mummy. It is connected with this medallion replica."started Savannah.
"The sun god medallion?"whispered Jane.
"That mummy was said to be the pharoah's son who coveted the sun god medallion. After the rain, something happened with the sarcophagus. I have a feeling that the real medallion is somewhere here and has been acvtivated." "Maybe the replica here is the real thing..?"continued savannah as Jane hesitantly spoke up.
"Actaully..I'm wearing the real thing.."she whispered as Savannah turned towards Jane.
'I thought that's just a trinket your sister has.."said Savannah as she examined the medallion.
"My ancestor somehow ended up with the medallion..long story but this is the real thing..what should we do with it?"inquired Jane.
Savannah smiled. "give it ot me, we'll read examine what the replica says about the medallion and what it can do!" Lizzie dropped into her knees and breathe dheavily. She watched in fear as the mummy stood up unharmed even if it was being engulfed in flames.
"He's no thief..he must be a real mummy! I mean..he's like an immortal!"gasped Lizzie as she watched the flames die down from the mummy's body. The mummy simply looked unfazed then dragged itself towards Lizzie. The mummy then bent down to reach for Lizzie.
"No!"screeched Lizzie and felt the mummy's cold hand touch her forehead. Lizzie was surprised, the mummy dind't seem to harm her. Instead she heard a male's voice inside her head.
"It's all right, I know what you are, mage."
"How'd you--You're a telepath?"gasped Lizzie as the voice continued.
"I've seen one of you a long time ago. Now listen young mage and hear my story. " Lizzie then saw faint images floating from the ceiling.
"Okay..what's this?"she asked.
"I am the youngest son of a pharoah and a powerful magician. I was able to create an elixir that gave me eternal life, and I shared it with my beloved. She was a beautiful lady who loved me with an intention with her mind." started the voice.
"So you're immortals!"exclaimed Lizzie.
"My beloved tricked me and took the medallion to use it to take over my land and other far away lands as well! But a group of mages stopped her. She escaped and went into hiding as my fahter sentenced me for my recklessness."
The images became thicker and clearer as the mummy continued his tale.
" The medallion was given as a reward to the mage-she looked so much like you. I on the other hand,could only rest in peace if i can serve my punishment. I was assigned to create a potion that would reverse the elixir's effects and to hunt my beloved down no matter how long it would take. Years passed, and I placed myself into slumber. It seemed that your medallion awakened me."
"So that's it.."whispered Lizzie then she peered closer at the image of the lady. Her eyes widened in fear.
"Oh no! That face!"she blurted. "I think It's safer if I hold the medallion. Just read and tell me what you can find."replied Jane to Savannah.
"But you must. I'm the only one here who can read the inscritions."insisted Savannah.
"Oh..okay.."said Jane as she was about to remove the medallion. Emma snapped out her trance. She was actaully seeing what Lizzie was seeing a while ago. She realized what was going on and quickly turned to the others and screamed
"Jane don't give to Savannah! She wants the medallion for herself!I saw it in my visions. She's an immortal!"
"What?"asked the confused Jane when Savannah took her chance to grab the medallion from Jane's neck.
"I said give it to me!"she screeched. Jane countered Savannah with a kick. Savannah paced backwards as the others were stunned as well.
"stay away!"declared jane as she took her chance and Riven stood beside her. "Whoa! Wait!She's an immortal?"asked Brandi as Emma shook her head.
"Long story, everyone just stay away..she's dangerous!"she cautioned.
"What do you want from the medallion?"demanded Jane. "I dont want that trinket for myself anymore. Alexis was able to learn about my secret and they recruited me. I would have gained a lot if I can have that medallion." said Savannah.
"Alexis?The rogues! You're working with Alexis the painter! For Lucretia!"exclaimed JAne.
"NOw give it to me or you'll be seriously hurt."warned Savannah. Familiar Blue lights flooded the room as Savannah was startled. "What the-"She gasped as two figures suddenly appeared before her. "You!"cried Savannah as Lizzie raised her arms. Savannah found herself being lifted off the ground by an unknown force.
"You're not going anywhere, miss. Seems like my friend has an unfinished business with you." Lizzie gave her cue, the mummy then breathed out a strange green gas towards the still floating Savannah.
"No! That can't be!That must be-"gasped Savannah as she inhaled the green gas. "That's right Savannah, it's the reversing potion to the elixir.."whispered Lizzie. Savannah felt her body react with the gas. She screeched as she realized her body was turning into green as well.
'I'm sorry but you're an immortal no more.'rang the mummy's voice inside Savannah's head.
Savannah smirked as she felt herself turning to dust.
"I guess our time is up, my dear. I have seen enough of the world anyway.."she managed to say then she glared at Jane.
"The medallion..after all these years..you mages still.."she struggled to say when she faded away. "Is it over?" asked Lizzie as she turned to the mummy beside her. The mummy tried to move its age old jaws to speak but to no avail.
'For Savannah and me..it is..'his voice spoke to Lizzie's mind. 'But it is not yet done for you mages. I trust you take good care of my medallion.'
Lizzie noded her head as yes.
"We will."she vowed. 'I'm done here. Years of waiting..I can finally rest.'the mummy thought as he dragged himself. back to its sarcophagus.
"Rest well my friend." whispered Lizzie as the mummy laid himself back to his slumber.
"Well..looks like we've a lot of explaining and cleaning up to do." said Jane as she motioned towards the still shocked Brandi and Mr. Peregrine and at the dust left in the floor.
"I'll do the explaining to Brandi."volunteered Mr. Peregrine.
Riven then turned to the mages.
"Looks like your job as mages is never done." he said.
"Lucretia is constantly on the move. We better watch our backs." cautioned Emma.
"I know, but can we take a break first? I envy the mummy prince he's finally taken his sleep."whined Lizzie.
The rest couldn't agree more.
