Here's another magical story I just had to make after buying the Apartment Life Expansion pack. It's very much like "Magician's Hat", actually this one is something I've been writing together with my group of friends, it's a compilation of our imaginary and magical adventures. It's quite difficult to transfer the story into a sims 2 version,but here's my attempt. hope you'll enjoy it. It's my own magical twist to an infamous urban legend in my country! (wink..wink..para sa mga pinoy)

Callasandra Titania Salini sighed as she thought of the events that had happened to her life these past months. Not long ago she was living in England with her mom, then she moved to Italy with her mom's family when her mom died, then her family moved her to the Philippines. Although her family didn't tell her the real reason why she had to be moved to a 3rd world country, she was able to find out anyway. She knew it was about her father...Gancomer, the lovetalker...there was no way the Salini's family would give her away to her faerie father.. As Calla recently found out, she was half human, half faerie. It was a hard to accept and learn but at least she had friends here who was the same as she was. Calla turned to the beautiful brunette in the table. It was Theodora Armosillo,or Tia for short. She's a descendant of a Spanish, Filipino human and a Grecian siren. Like all females in her family, they have gifted voices and will eventually earn their wings when they're 18, which is 2 years away. She's also a gifted magician, since she's being taught by her Uncle, a wizard in England. She was raised to learn and accept her magical background and she and her family uses their gifts to help other people. Then Calla turned to the person nearest to her. It was Joanne Cruz. She's half Filipino and Half Japanese. Just like Calla, she just discovered her powers recently. She learned that she's an empath, that she can feel how other people feels and that she can be telekinetic when she's angry. Just like Calla,Joanne sticks with this group in order to learn more abotu her powers origins and how to control them. Calla turned tot eh blue-eyed beauty at the other end of the table. It was Emily Robinsons, talklative and bubbly as usual. She's half Filipino and Half American (a Fil-Am). She's dubbed as the snow princess since she has the power to manipulate and create snow and ice. How she had her powers is a long story, but for now her controlled abilities are releasing a frozen breath and freezing a people or object in time. Calla turned to the pretty brown-skinned beauty to her left. She's Daniella Chloris Bennet or Chloe for short. She's a descendant of a Great Dragon Prince and a mortal Filipina. It wont be until she reaches the age of 25 when she finally receives her full dragon powers, for now she's using the powers she recieved from her godparent, a vampire. At her baptismal, instead of having a fairygodparent, the first magical creature who arrived became her godparent, and she was given the ability to pass through walls and absorb or drain (like a vampire) other creatures with her touch when she's angry. Like Tia and Emily she was raised to use her powers for good. Calla turned to the last person in their table.Calliandra Fei Chua. She's half chinese, half filipino (or a tsinoy*). She has the ability to create and manipulate flames. She has no idea how she received her abilities, since she seems to be the only one in her family who's magical.
*tsinoy (chee-noy) means half filipino, half chinese Calla turned around and noticed a Korean with his date.
"Hey look, Fei, isnt that your Korean student?"she asked Feri. Fei has taken up a part time job aside from school. She's been an English Tutor to a Korean.
"That's your student? he's cute!" mused Emily. "Who's his date?" asked Tia curiously.
"Probably another cute girl he's met." Fei repleid quickly.
"Look at how that girl is fawning for your Korean." teased Joanne.
'i wouldn't blame her, he's sooo cute, he looks like as if he came out from a Koreanovela.." swooned Emily. "What? He's just my student! He can date whoever he wants."flushed Fei as the rest laughed at her.
"Oh? Just a student?" teased Tia.
"I assure you, he's just Fei's student." said Chloe as she defended her best friend.
"you know Tsinoy's like them..they prefer fellow tsinoys like them.." continued Chloe. She grinned as she gave Fei a teasing look.
"Ah..you mean like um..our classmate? The son of the owner of this mall?" asked Calla as she joined in the teasing.
"Andy Won!!!" exclaimed Joanne referring to their classmate, the heir to a mall chain. "Well, since you have your eyes on Andy can I have that Korean of yours, hope you'll introduce me to him." grinned Emily. Fei shook her head and flushed pink. She thought about Andy Won. She admitted herself she had a crush on him and he seemed to have an eye for her as well.
"Okay...okay..let's just finish our meals and go on shopping before the last show in the cinema okay?"she moaned.
She shook her head then surrendered to her friends teasings.
The group of friends where spending their Friday nights on the shopping mall named S'now. It was large and it contained almost everything, restuarants, a cinema and several stores and botiques for everything. The 6 friends where hoping to watch a movie that night. They decided to shop some clothes before that. Calla turned to a mannequin.
"She gives me the creeps." she whispered to Joanne.
" I think I wanna buy a pair of shoes from the other store. Can we move on?"asked Tia.
"I found a pretty dress here I wanna try. You girls go ahead if you want. Let's meet an hour later to watch the movie." said Fei.
"I'll be with Fei." said Chloe. "Me too." said Emily.
Tia noded her head and exited the store with Joanne and Calla.
"See ya later." waved Calla. Fei entered the large dressing booth. She started to check herself out int he mirror before trying the dress. She felt a cold breeze pass by her nape.
Then before Fei could do anything she felt the floor move. To her sruprise the floor was opening up before her.
"It cant be..."she softly gasped as she fell into the opening. "And the she..." gossiped Emily when they heard a scream from the dressing booth.
Emily and Chloe stared at each other.
'Did you hear that?" she asked Chloe.
Emily turned to the store's cashier. She continued minding her business as if she heard nothing.
"Fei?" asked chloe as she knocked on the dressing booth's door.
There was no reply. Chloe peeked at the cashier again then held Emily's hand. The two entered into the dressing booth and found no one wa there.
"What just happened?"asked Emily who was bewildered.
'Where's fei? It cant be..Could it?'' asked Chloe as she knelt on the floor. Chloe knocked on the floor. It made a sound.
"The floor's light and hollow. It's not cemented like the rest of the mall..."She told Emily.
"What are you implying?"asked Emily.
"That something fishy's going on here. And we're about to find out." said Chloe as she took Emily's hand. Chloe concentrated and the two slowly descended and passed through the floor like ghosts. Fei woke up and shook her head. The last thing she remembered was that the floor opened before her and she slid down into the darkness.
"Where am i?"she asked herself.
She heard a rustle and a hiss. She turned towards the hiss then screamed. To her horror, right in front of her was a green and scaly creature, half man, half serpent. The creature was ready to reach out for her. Fei scrambled to get up but her knees were wobbly and felt like jelly. She was frozen in fear. Then she heard a voice behind her.
"Leave her alone!!" An angry Chloe ran towards the creature and tighly held its hands that was about to grab Fei. The creature felt a shocking jolt from Chloe's hands then let out a scream. The serpent fainted and fell to the ground. He felt drained. Chloe puffed at the new energy she just fed. She felt dizzy as the serpent's energy whizzed inside her all of a sudden. Meanwhile in another room in the mall, an old woman was screeching at her employee as a beautiful Tsinay* watched the old woman amusingly.
"Who's that? What did she just do? Tell your men not to let those out of my sight!" screamed the elderly woman.
"Yes..who are they?"asked the tsinay as she returned her gaze back to the tv screen.
*Tsinoy for boy or general, tsinay for girl "Are you okay Fei?" asked Emily as Fei turned to the serpent.
"That-That can't be..." she stammered as she saw light illuminating the serpent's body and revealing its true form. "Andy...Andy Won..." whispered Fei as the light surrounding his body slowly faded away.
"he's a serpent? He tried to hurt you? Okay what's going on!"demanded Emily. It wasnt a surprise for her to find out if someone turned out to be magical simce she was one herself but Andy? Their classmate? A serpent in the mall? "Well I'm not sticking to find out. I drained him so his magic wore out a bit. It could return anytime." told Chloe. Emily hold Fei's hands as Fei shivered in fear and disbelief.
"everybody hold on to me, we're getting out of here." said Chloe as Emily held her other hand onto Chloe's shoulder. The three then trailed each other and followed Chloe's lead as they passed through the wall and exited the creepy room. They found themselves in the first floor ,near the mall's exit.
''Okay what should we do now?" asked Emily.
"We should text the others a message and get out of here asap!" replied Fei.
"um..guys..i dont think we can get out that quickly..."whispered Chloe. She pointed at a mean looking guy guarding the mall's main entrance.
"He wasnt there this morinig..i think he's guarding for us.." thought Chloe.
"But why? Maybe he's not looking for us, he's just there for...uh.. display?"whispered Emily back as the three made sure they were out of the guard's sight.
"We just discovered this mall's dark secret right? It's no wonder if they'll make sure we wont be able to get out of here." replied Fei softly. "I'm sure we can pass though the guard that easily." said Emily while referring to Chloe's powers.
Chloe shook her head.
"hello, look at the people around us!!I cant use my powers out here. There are too many people in the mall." whispered Chloe. "And um.. after using it recently I once again cant control my powers since i just drained someone." she continued embarasingly.
Everytime Chloe drains someone, it takes a while before all teh energy she just absorbed to settle in.
"Now what..?" thought Fei. Meanwhile back at the second floor, Calla decided to buy a snack in the vending machine.
"Come on Calla, we're supposed to meet the others in the 3rd floor for the movie." said Joanne.
'excuse me miss." a voice said. The three turned around. They saw an officer.
"The cashier from a jewelry store told us someone shoplifted a ring. You seemed to have fit the description. Can we check your shopping bag?" asked the officer while pointing to Tia's bag.
"What? we havent been in a jewelry store here. Plus my friend bought that from a shoe store!" exclaimed Joanne.
''I'd like to check to make sure."insisted the officer.
"fine go ahead." whispered Tia as she handed the paper bag.
"Try as you might officer but there's no way that we're the shopl--." said Joanne.
Before she could finish her statement, the officer pulled out two gold rings and a pair of earings from the shopping bag. The three exchanged confused glances as the officer crossed his arms.
"you're coming with me." he told them firmly. "emily any word fromt he others?" asked Chloe as they were still avoiding the guard's gaze.
"Nope nothing yet.."said Emily as they turned to Fei. "Just text them to get out of here. I'm sure they'll be all right." assured Fei.
She knew that Tia was the most experienced among them when using her magic. Aside from using magic from her wand,as a siren she can use her voice to persuade men to her will. Fei made sure no one was looking at them.
Fei quickly gestured her hands and a flame formed before her.
"I have a plan..." she said.

Will they be able to escape in the mall? Why was there a serpent in the mall anyway? What happened to Tia, Calla and Joanne?
Quick facts: The Urban Legend: It is said that one mall chain in my country is said to have raised a half serpent, half human. The creature is kept inside the mall. an unlucky girl that he likes from a dressing booth slides down to an underground space where he's kept.
But really? can such thing be real? I think it's just a competitor's ploy and a great story plot for me to write.
