chapter 2.
since chapter one was my very first story i posted i forgot to even say the mains name >< lol sorry.

Amy Harris is her name, and the family is the Harris family :)

chapter 2.
since chapter one was my very first story i posted i forgot to even say the mains name >< lol sorry.

Amy Harris is her name, and the family is the Harris family :) Henry became the man of the house when daddy died, but did twice as much work in the farm, doing both daddys share of tending the harvest.
As my other brother replaced mothers work, and takes care of the livestock Henry tried his best caring for the family in whatever way he could, helping us with our school work, putting food in the table and even caring for momma while she was in labor As for momma, she cares for mah new baby sister named Mary. Every morning she takes Mary to daddys grave.
we had no money to buy land in the town graveyard, all we could have affored was a little funeral to barry him in the backyard.
people mite think its wrong, but in our hearts we felt like it was rite. his grave is next to my grandfathers old house, the house where he was born and raised in Even though momma did no work, she had a hard time with the boys and the baby.
ever since daddy died, Luke and Lucis would fite every day momma tries her best to raise them and disiplent them. but now not even time out will stop them they would get rite back to fighting as soon as they leave the corners.

"I've have HAD IT!" yelled momma "you two better behave yourselves or so help me god ah will ground you both!!"

with watery eyes the Luke and Lucis stared at momma and started to cry "Ah want papa back!!!" Luke cries out, he covers his face and begans to cry some more.
"Ah miss papa! ah want him back too!" lucis says while crying his little eyes out
 from the screams and tears from the boys little Mary woke up and begain to cry herself.

usally momma can handle us while we would be upset, even if she felt like the need to cry too, shes a strong woman..

 but sometimes its just too much to take..even for her...

 and mah two older brothers would be too tired to handle them, with Henry out all day under the hot sun, and Jacob heavy lifting and taking care of the animals, they would go rite to bed without dinner. One day when ah came home from fishing, ah saw something in mah room ah did not like at all... "Momma whats that thing in mah room?!"

"its a baby crib, Henry build it for Mary. isn't it lovely Amy?" she replied

"Ah know what it is but WHY is it in MAH room?" i replied with a hiss

from the creeks of the floor boards ah heard someone come into the kitchen and said
"Cuz it was mah idea to have it in the room" It was Henry coming home from work. Henry looks at the fire place and inhales
"mmmm smells great momma, whats for dinner" he asked

"you'll know when its in the table, now go wash up, the foods almost ready son" "Why did you have to put it in MAH ROOM?!" ah asked Henry with great anger.
Mah brother dried his hands with the dish towel, looked at me and messed up mah hair.

"Mary's getting too big for that lil basket she sleeps in now Amy, and momma has her hands full with the boys already. youre a big gurl now so its your time to watch over her." Ah glared at him, ah was so mad my cheeks turned red.
"Ah nevah wanted a baby sister so i'm NOT gunna take care of her by force!!"

Henry looked at me with worried eyes, then let out a sigh and chuckled
"Now now Amy, please settle down; be a good gurl and just do what i say darling"

ah slaped the hand that he used to scold me and looked straight in his eyes "Don't be giving me none of that Henry!! youre not daddy!! and you'll never WILL BE! ever since he died you've been trying to act like him and replace him!!!!" i yelled out, even mah other brothers heard me in the other room.
with mah blood boiling and fist clenched ah said to mah brother what i would have neveah said...
"AH HATE YOU HENRY!!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKKEN DADDYS PLACE!" Ah regreated it as soon as ah said it.....i couldn't even look Henry in his eyes,in the eyes of mah brothers...

Henry looked at me in shock, than clenched his hand on his chest...then he opened his mouth as if he was gunna say somthin but nothing came out, no words. the anger and regret was too much for me to bare, Ah ran out of the house and into the forest "AMY!!!!!" i heard mah mother yelling back at me, "AMY COME BACK!!!"

"Go inside momma" Jacob said holding her back
"No son! ah have to find your sister!" momma replied with tears running down her eyes
"No, i'll get her" said Henry "this was all mah fault, i'll bring her back."
"please son, bring her home" Momma said to Henry clenching to his shirt
"I will momma, ah promise i'll bring her home safe"
Henry grabed the lantern and ran after me "Please lord," momma said to herself "please watch over mah children" i'll admit now running in the forest wasen't the smartest idea ah have evah done. the noises in the dark and the howling of wolves were enough to even scare a grown up. but in the corner of mah eye ah saw a little light, and as ah peers in the dark and into that light ah see the outlines of a little tree house by the lake.

ah was too afraid of going in that little house, but ah was even more afraid to be killed ah decided to take mah chances and climed that little tree house, and their ah slept threw the nite... The next morning ah decided i'll nevah go back home again, it wasen't a home for me anymore. momma has a new daughter and daddys gone forever...my slice of heaven...my peace of joy is gone forevah and i'll nevah get it back... Until he came along...
