So you want to build a house where the door opens to a choice of upstairs or downstairs, but you aren’t sure where to start? This tutorial should help you build that Split Entry home, and you may learn some CFE tricks while you’re at it! *NOTE – Some experience with CFE is helpful, but not necessary (if you’re brave!). I consider this tutorial to be intermediate – expert level. REQUIREMENTS: This tutorial can be used without any EPs whatsoever; in fact I am only using the Base Game to create it! :D Getting Started: Before we begin, choose a lot size a little larger than you think you will need. So, if you want a small house, choose a MEDIUM sized lot. The reason you will be doing this is because using the CFE will take up quite a bit more space in your home than you think. You don’t want to get half way through a build only to find you won’t have enough room for the house you had planned. I am using a 3x4 Lot for this Tutorial.
