Build a elevator (Stealth Stairs) in your house. Easy step-by-step tutorial. Level: Beginners to intermediate (Note: Need to know how to use "CFE" cheat code)

Introduction

This tutorial will show you step bystep how to build Elevator (Stealth Stairs) on foundation.

Step 1.

Build the foundation (Not toosmall, I build 10x10)

Step 2.

Add a wall around it.

Step 3.

Place Floors and you see the “Green Carpet” that we willadd our stairs.

Step 4.

Page up to next floor and repeat Step 2 & 3

(How many floors do you need? It depends how tall you wantJ)

Step 5.

Now delete the “Green Carpet” on each floor.

Step 6.

Delete the entire wall on each floor.

Step 7.

Delete foundation.

Step 8.

Page down to 1st level floor, turn on thecheat code “boolprop constrainfloorelevation” to false. (I will call it CFE).And then build 3 connecting floor.

Step 9.

Side view after you add 3 connecting floor.

Step 10.

Use the elevation tool “LevelTerrain Tool” and drag starting from the bottom of the lowermost stair to aflat tile beside the stair hole.

Step 12.

Before we add the stair, turn off the “CFE” to truefirst.

And then add back the foundation and add stair on eachfloor.

Step 13.

Delete the 3 connecting stairs that were used to lowerthe floor.

Step 14.

Now turn on the “CFE” to false again, and then go to the1st level floor and use the elevation tool to level out the floor bydragging the tool from the upper left corner to the bottom right corner toflatten the whole floor back to normal.

Note: Turn off CFE to true, you don’t needto use anymore.

Step 15.

Now you can add wall around the stairs, and then add doorand window (this is my way)

Note: if you don’t like to add any wall ordoor, don’t add anything in the front and at the back on each floor except the1st and the top floor, otherwise your sim can’t walk through.

Finish.

Now, it is time to test.
