Overview.

In this tutorial, you will be creating an outdoor basement patio.  This is an extremely short and easy tutorial, and I thought most of you would enjoy it.

 

  

 

 

Step 1.

For thesefirst few steps, you will be creating your basement.  Find the stairs tool andplace three connecting stairs going down into the ground.

 

 

 

 

Step 2.

Delete thestairs you made.  Go to the lowest section of the ground and level everythingdown.

 

 

 

Step 3.

Add a wallgoing around the lowered ground area.  This will form your basement.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4.

On the one ofyour walls, (I used the 8 tile long side) go in a one tile square (depending onthe size of your wall) and level from inside of the house on out about three orfour tile squares.

 

 

 

 

Step 5.

Add a fencegoing around the leveled terrain.  Be sure to leave an opening in the front. You can then add tile in the fenced area.

 

 

 

 

Step 6.

This step willtake some patience.  Use the lower terrain tool and lower the terrain aroundthe fence so the outcome is a hill.  (Don’t make the hill too steep, we wantour Sims to be able to walk up and down it!)

 

 

 

 

Step 7.

Go up onelevel and add a foundation in the crevasses going down towards the basement.
