Our first plugin to the Sims 3 workshop tool in development has been finished and is now available for a public beta.

We have a forum set up for this here. This is your place for support and troubleshooting (do NOT use TSR support for this, you will not get a reply).

Thanks guys!   I will take this for a spin tonight. From a first glance it looks easier than Delphy's tool but maybe I should keep quiet until I have succeeded to create a pattern.

I risk sounding really stupid here but, you know when you're making the new 256x256 pixel RGB/8 documen, where do I find the mask that i need to copy/paste?? I'm just not understanding this part. Could someone help me?
On Jun 10, 2009 Murano wrote:
Hi Dist0rtion! You have to prepare the masks you want to have included in the pattern manually in your graphics program such as Photoshop or vector program such as Illustrator. These you can then copy/paste into the channels. It's not possible to copy/paste from any image you'll find online and this is unfortunately the hardest part. :|

Thank you this is great. The tutorial for making masks in Photoshop are very good. Is there or can anyone make a similar mask tutorial for Paint Shop Pro 7?

This isn't Mac OS compatible. So much for open source.

Open source is not equal to platform independence. At the moment we have chosen to develop this in c# since that supports direct X which we need in order to do proper previews. Porting over to Java at a later stage is an option, but that's something we'll have to review there and then when we are done.
