Hi Midnight! Thanks for your wonderfully kind comment on my story "Dreaming of the Stars". Having played the family I am a little more sympathetic towards the parents because no matter what I did or what awful traits I gave them, they actually did want to care for little Jett. I had to keep stopping them so that I could get the screenies I wanted $\:D$

Hi Kaz $\:\)$ Thanks for commenting on Part 3 of my story! I agree with you - Amy was definitely feeling angry at the time but at least now Nikki knows. I think in the case of cheating it's better to know than not so Nikki realises what a slimeball Carlos is $\:D$ I'm pleased you enjoyed it, especially the facial expressions. It can take a little while for just the right one to appear $\;\)$ Hope your having a good weekend!

It was around 30 degrees here today, maybe a little higher during the middle of the day but it was about 35 degrees yesterday and it's been above 30 for longer than I would like $\;\)$ Plus, I would add at least 5 degrees more in our unit...I swear it's a little oven. Good in winter but not so good in summer! $\:rolleyes$ : We're going to find another place to rent in June/July though when our lease runs out and this time with air conditioning $\:D$ But I shouldn't complain too much...I feel for the people in Darwin. I would swelter for sure $\:eek\:$ I'm definitely a winter person $\;\)$

Thanks for commenting on Part 2 of my story, Kaz $\:D$ Haha, I definitely think Carlos will be shocked to find out Amy is his father's illegitamate child and that he has shockingly created a child with her now $\:eek\:$ $\;\)$ I'm glad you enjoyed it and Part 3 will be out by the end of the week. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your books too $\:\)$ I definitely want to get around to reading the Scarpetta series, I enjoy reading crime every now and then. But I don't read a lot of fantasy...maybe because I haven't tried all that much. The ones I have tried I got lost after the first couple of pages, haha $\:D$ That book sounds huge (The Gathering Storm) and I'm quite fascinated that someone took over writing it after the original author died. That would be a daunting task - finishing a book someone else had started, though I'm sure the extensive notes helped. And no, I haven't read Diana Gabaldon, I'll have to check her books out $\:\)$ Thanks for the heads up! Once I get through some more of the books waiting for me, I'll pay a visit to the library like you suggested. It is a little disappointing when you run out of books to read!
