Here's What the Last Blog Entry Said

It seems some weird code got into my last entry. Here is what it said:

New room sets are the clear winners, but there was a good showing all around. This supports my theory that you are all just greedy, greedy.;->  Fun, isn't it? Someplace where you can be as greedy as you want and everyone likes it!

Anyway, I hope you are enjoying the 20 living rooms. They look much better mixed and matched than they do all one color, but I wasn't sure how else to present them.

I have a request for more appliance recolors and I will be getting to that shortly. Working on something a bit different right now. I'll let you know when I think I have something to show. For now let's just say it is not my usual thing and leave it at that. Nothing especially wonderful or marvelous, so don't get your hopes up. Just different.

I Have Given In . . .

to the Pinkness! At least for now, I've decided to be pink! I may be red or gray tomorrow, but for today I am pink. I've been trying out all the different colors at random times and have decided to go with this for a while.

My poll is getting a bit long in the tooth so I will have a new one for you before too long.

This week features the last of the sports cars and another Floppy Cushion living room.

Next week will have a Bathroom and another living room.

After that, we will have to wait and see. I may have something different for you.

Corrected File Now Showing

The corrected end table is now showing up in the NK Cubist Dining set.

Ordering of set items seems to not be working so my latest set starts off with the two blank walls. Again, they show up fine in v6, but not in v7. Download just fine in either one.

I will try to find some time to work on the bookcase today or tomorrow and get that out to you as well.

I spent a lot of time yesterday making collection files for myself for some of my wall and floor sets. Might release some of those collection files so you can use them too. I'm finding them quite useful!

Also spent time making screenies for kitchen supersets featuring each kitchen item all together by color for those who are particular about their color schemes. Those should come out fairly soon as well.

Need to find some time for a new poll as well, but I want to give it a few more days to make sure the poll section is working as it should.

Lots to do, so I better get to it.

Stranger Still

It seems that if you download the entire NK Cubist Dining Set from v7, you get the new end table.

If you download the end table by itself, you get the old one.

So you can get it in version 7, but only by downloading the whole set again. Weird.

Well - Sort of

The corrected end table for the NK Cubist Dining Set is out, but for some reason is only showing in v6, so you'll have to go there to get it. Don't know why, but at least it is now available. Let me know if you have any issues with the set. I'll let you know when I get the next revision done.

If you have tried to PM me about anything, I was silly and let my mailbox get filled to capacity without noticing. I've deleted some of them, so now I have room for any messages you might have tried to send. Sorry about that!

I'm also going to try to release my corrected  NK Cubist Dining End Table as a separate item. If that works out, it should show up on the 16th. Sorry this has taken so long to get to you, but I haven't been able to contact anyone. Hopefully this will work. If it does, just download the one that says CORRECTED in the title and let it replace the original. I still haven't had time to improve the bookcase, but I'll try to get to it this weekend.

I have a question for you. I am thinking about updating my About Me section. Except for any really personal stuff, what would you like to know? Or what do you think people that visit for the first time might like to know? If you have any ideas, let them fly. I'm not very good at that sort of thing, so I thought I'd ask for suggestions. You can PM or do a guestbook entry. Looking forward to hearing from some of you!

Some of you seem to like the floppy cushion living room. Only 20 more of them to go! I also have some other room sets that I still need to make pictures for. And one more car set. And a last small appliance set. Maybe I'll put the kitchen appliances into sets by color as well.

Lots to do, so I better get busy. Hope you are all doing well and enjoying reading about the Creator's Camp. Sims3 is starting to seem really interesting. But you probably won't need my 20 colors of sims things. Sounds like solid color recolors will be in the hands of everyone. So I'll have to concentrate more on unique patterns and meshes. I'm not very good at meshing yet, but I'm trying to learn.

Hidden Walls

In my latest Living Room set, the walls are invisible in version 7, although they show up just fine in version 6. I think this is because they have been sitting on the server for quite a while. I'm not sure what to do about it, so for now, you can see the walls in the preview of the set or go to v6 and look at them there. Sorry about that!

Still waiting on the ability to edit my mesh set (NK Cubist Dining) with the fixed end table. Will let you know when that happens. Sorry for the ickyness of it. The new version is much better. I also plan to update the bookcase a bit, but haven't had the chance to do it yet.

I have done all the thanking that I have seen in my comments and guestbook, so if I missed anyone it was because you inexplicably disappeared. But know that I appreciate all the comments and guestbook entries. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Backups are Still Great

I wrestled with this computer for the better part of a whole weekend, but finally was able to reformat the hard drive and re-install from backup. My backup from the day everything went crazy was apparently not infected by the virus either (at least not my Sims files - I didn't try to install everything else from that day) so I basically lost nothing. Yay!

I will get some downloads out to you shortly. I've done a couple of recolors in my 20-colors of SimAddict99's new floppy sofa cushions. Also recolors of the Zecutime sofa to go with them. Not sure how I'll make those up into sets yet.

Also coming are more cars and appliances and one last pet set. And a recolor of my mesh set if I can get the staff to help me with replacing the mesh file(s). I'd like to do that first.

I'll keep you posted.

Bad News

My computer has been infected by a vicious set of trojans/viruses/who knows. I don't know when I will be up and running again, so everything will grind to a halt while I try to fight this thing. I wish that people who do this kind of thing would get a clue. Personal responsibility is the name of the game. If you don't have that, then you aren't really human. I do have backups so hopefully I can wipe the hard drive and restore from the backups or something. But there is a chance the backups are infected, too, so I don't know yet. I have other computers in my house, so I will keep you posted as I am able. **sigh**
