The Sims 3 - Not a happy chappy :(

Okay, I got my sims 3 package yesterday. Now from all the big huge hype that surrounded the game I was expecting something much much better. There's cool new features for the game, walking around the neighbourhood being one of them, but there's more annoying little things than cool new features.

First of all, their faces don't look right. There was all this talk about how much easier it will be to customize your sim in CAS, it was really disappointing, it wasn't easier at all. I tried to make a good looking guy to start off a new legacy family, and I couldn't. It just wasn't possible. I spent ages changing everything but he always ended up looking like a girl.

The speeds for gameplay. In the sims 2 there's 3 speeds right, normal, faster and....fastest. But for the sims 3 there's 4 speeds, I thought that would be awsum! But the fourth speed for the sims 3 is as fast as the sims 2's number two speed. You spend ages!! just watching them sleep!!! It's literary over 5 minutes, you can't make the speed go any faster.

There's heaps of other little niggly things as well, oh also when you're walking around the neighbourhood, and you walk past shops and such. You'd assume you would go into stores with the sims, but you can't. You try to follow them in, and the building disappears.

I don't know if it's just me, but after all the excitement and waiting for MONTHS! to have a game that just didn't live up to all it's hype, it sucks. It's bye-bye back to the shop for my sims 3, and back to the lovely sims 2 for me! With all my pretty sims!

Just a short snippet from a story I'm working on, don't know if I should make it into a sims story yet. Let me know what you think....

My heart was beating a mile a minute as I slowly passed the nurses station with my head down under the hood of my jacket. I kept following a series of hallways, the alarm still in the background. "Hey you!" I heard as I turned a corner. Screw the jogging, I ran. I bolted as fast as I could with a large orderly slowly following behind. My heart was beating so fast I thought it would jump out. "Stop that guy!!" He yelled puffing heavily. I turned my head around to see how far behind he was. Big mistake. He was a couple of metres behind me holding a syringe in his hand. I turned back around to see where I was going, and was about to run at full pelt when I crashed into another particularly large and muscley orderly. I fell to the floor immediately feeling kind of woosy, then I got quickly pulled up to my feet. I tried to fight him and continue running, but he quickly put me in a head lock. I yelled out, thrashing against the orderly's grip, but he only tightened it. I yelled out again, but got a sudden long, sharp prick in the side of my neck. My vision went blurry again as the ground rushed to my face......

Is there ever really a subject??

Wow my him & her story really crashed and burned on that one didn't it? I don't know whether this is just me, but it's just really annoying me at the moment. Like really irratatingly annoying. So to get rid of my irritatingly annoying story, I'll make up an quick ending for it, then there'll be no more!! Hazaah!!

My other story's on the other hand, I haven't seemed to get bored of them yet which is quite lol good. So hopefully I can get them, and by them I just mean Escape from Paradise and Theft and Prosperity. Yes so hopefully I can get the next parts of them out. I'm halfway through another Theft and Prosperity part, but since I lost some of my custom content......well that's not true I deleted it to fix my computer, that'd be technically speaking but either way I have some missing content, that I thought I downloaded all again. But every now and then I'll be looking for an item, and I'll look for it everywhere. And it's like no, you deleted that, so I have to search all over the internet to find it!

I have had 2!! new ideas for sims 2 stories, okay well it's actually just one idea, the other idea i'm actually going to turn into a novel, and I haven't thought of whether I want to make it into a sims story as well. I'll give you the first couple of lines of it later to see what you think. But anyway my real idea for the sims 2 story, I'm going to call it Kendra's Blog, and have it about her life and everything. You know just a nice bit of fluff, not have some major drama happen, which I find happens in most of my stories. I'd just like a change you know? But I don't know when I'll start writing that Kendra's Blog story, because I think I want to finish the two I have going on at the moment.

Anyway the 'novel' it's so weird to say that, but I'm writing one, and I'm hoping to maybe get it published into a real book. Now you're probably thinking I'm not that good of a writer to write a whole novel, but my real writing is totally different from my sims writing. I don't know what it is, but it's like writing a story in the game you have all these limits. Like you're limited to thinking inside the box, and you just can't seem to get your head out of it....it's stuck in there. Inside the sims 2 box. I've only just started peeling back the lid of that box to see the full picture of the sims 2. But I still find that I'm limited by the box, I don't know whether that's just me and my crazy brain. Stupid brain getting stuck in imaginary boxes. Anyway so I'll post a small paragraph from my novel story into my blog soon. I can't do it now because I'm not on the right computer, I never am it seems. I shall do it soon, but for now I have to go because my cat is causing the cutlery on the counter to commit suicide. There it goes *bang* *clutter* *clash* and now my cat's running out of the kitchen with his tail in between his legs. He acts like such a dog sometimes, you'll never beleive that I caught him drinking out of the toilet the other day. Some weird cat.

 I have to be going now because Jason Bourne is calling......gotta love the sim world. Poor Jason Bourne, he's old now....with grandkids. Wait I don't think he has any yet but his kids are old enough to have them. Oh if I'm confusing you, Jason Bourne is my sim! Not the real Jason Bourne, because Matt Damon isn't old and doesn't have grandkids. I watched that movie last night! what a weird co-ink-ee-dink!! Ahh that Jason Bourne, he's so good looking. The real one this time, not my sim. But there isn't really a 'real' one but the character. But the actual character isn't good looking because, he is just a character until Matt Damon comes along and plays the character. Now I could keep going with that ALL night. Firstly because I'm in a crazy wacked out mood, and secondly because I think I'm tired. So not only am I crazy but I'm also delirious, great combination!! I can hear the loony bin ambulance coming now......

Break from TSR

Hey all,

School holidays have just started here in Australia, the land down-under! And because of the holidays and the fact that I'm going to be starting at a new school next term! I'm going to be taking a break from story-writing and everything else here on tsr for a while. I will though, be posting 1 more chapter for each of the 3 stories I have at the moment. Because well they're already written, I just have to upload them to this site. So after those chapters, there's going to be a bit of a wait for the next ones. Except if I decide that I don't want a break and would rather be playing the sims then doing schoolwork, which might I add is highly likely, well who wants to be doing homework when you can play the sims. But hopfully I won't do that, because I have A LOT of work to get done, in these measly two weeks that I get.

So I'll be back as soon as I can.

Sooo sorryy!!! Stories Hiccup!!

My stupid retarded computer was having issues!! It kept crashing, I know why it was crashing but I kept ignoring it. But then the other day, I thought 'I should fix my stupid computer now' and so I did and I fixed my crashing problem. But I also lost some of my custom content in the process so I'm like fine that's alright I'll just download the content again. But then my game was all blurry!!! I know how to fix it, but when I tried the program, it wouldn't work!!! So now I have to fix my program, so I can fix the blurriness, so I can fix my game, so I can download the content again, and then continue my stories. But if I can't fix the program, I'll have to un-install and re-install all my expansion packs.

So I don't know how long that will take, so the main point is that my stories will be delayed for however long it takes me to fix them. Which could be up to a week or two, because I'm swamped with homework.

So i'm sorry, if there's anyone who's waiting for the next parts. But I'm doing everything I can.

New Stories!! and new problems....LoL.

I've recently started a new story, 'Escape from Paradise' and I'm sorry they were split into two parts but I haven't yet figured out how to upload them properly, like longer. Anyone who could help with that, well your help would be GREATLY!! appreciated.

Sooooo sorry to anyone who's been waiting for the last part of my story, I have been super dooper busy. I've been working on it every chance I can. I just need to do some editing with the photos and such, then I'll post it. Do you still post stories like you used to? Or has it changed?? I'll have to look it up.

Hehe he I'm writing a blog. Bit random.

I can't wait till sims 3 comes out!!! I hope they didn't do what they did with spore, when you can only have like 2 or 3 computers using the program. But I can't wait to play it! Is it just me or do all the sims 3 peoples faces look really fat? Like wide? Hopefully they're not all like that. I know nobody's perfect but sims can be. lol. I just can't stand having a family of ugly sims. Oh that sounded a bit mean didn't it? I just mean that that ummm I don't know what I mean. I like having pretty sims. Best as I can describe it. Unless the ugly sim has a good back story. But I can't think of any at the moment. Speaking of story....again, I'm coming up with ideas for a new story!! I'm going to spend a lot of time on it and make it really good. I'd love to tell you what it was about but i'm afraid someone will steal my awesome idea! Now that sounded snobbish, didn't it? But I really like the idea that I have for this new story and I don't want someone doing the same thing you know? I wonder if anyone will actually read this....................

Okay I'm off to edit some Gimpy photos (foe-toss) lol starring my photogenic (foe-toge-en-ic) ....sims.
