I have started about 3 or 4 new Sims stories and finally this one seems to be complete. I think you know what to expect from my stories by now but I still hope you enjoy it as much as I do in creating it. I would like to thank everyone for all your comments on my last few stories and I hope this will be as successful as my previous ones. Katie x

Katie x Lucy Anderson lived a pretty average life. From the small town of Bridgeport, she went by her every day life pretty much unnoticed. She dined alone at her home most nights. And her idea of a good night involved a good book and a mug of hot cocoa. However, the one night Lucy braved the Brdigeport nightlife, her life changed forever. At a friend's houseparty she met Barry Anderson. At first Lucy was not aware that Barry was the man she had been waiting for. But their connection was instant and their chemistry apparent for all to see. They were soon insperable. Barry proved to be everything Lucy wanted. He was kind, considerate, thoughtful, a hard worker and most of all he made her happy. After regular dates, their relationship became serious and they found themselves spending a lot of time together. When Lucy wasn't working at the restaurant she was with Barry. Lucy devoted all her free time to him and he did the same when he wasn't working as a landscape gardner. Eventually Barry moved into Lucy's small cottage and they spent all their time together. Within a year they had married and were blissfully happy. Married life was a breeze but soon Barry would drop a bombshell that would affect them for the rest of their lives. Barry was terminally ill and eventually Barry would lose his life. They agreed to enjoy the moments they shared together, as each could be his last. Gradually Barry became weaker and weaker and Lucy decided to quit work to look after him. But they did their best to keep things as "normal" as they could. One day Barry asked Lucy to make a promise to him. It was that when he was gone she would try and look for love again. Although it broke Lucy's heart to hear those words, she agreed. "I want you to always be happy Lucy, and loved, because you deserve to be," Barry said softly to his wife. 6 months into his illness, Barry had made it to his first wedding anniversary. He was determined to celebrate and to celebrate in style. They invited everyone they knew and it promised to be a wonderful celebration for their love for one another. The party was in full swing and everything went to plan. Lucy even helped prepare the food, something she hadn't done much since she quit work. Barry was enjoying socialising and speaking to his friends and family. But they only had eyes for one another. They adored one another and could not wait to celebrate another year together. "I love you Lucy, always." Barry smiled at his wife.

"I love you too, always," Lucy replied.
Everyone was happy for them.

"I just need to go check on the food," Barry said kissing his wife's cheek, "Be back in a moment."
But as he walked away, Barry fell to his knees and his heart and body gave in. Everyone rushed over, checking his pulse, but it was clear that there was nothing more they could do. Someone called an ambulance and soon they were trying to revive Barry. Lucy had watched the whole thing in hysterics, pleading for Barry to come back to her. But nothing could be done and she knew Barry was gone forever. Lucy was alone, she was a widow. She was unconsolable. Deep down she knew she would lose Barry one day, she just hadn't realised how soon that day would be. Now she was without him, she wasn't sure if she could cope.

How could she live without him?

Why do they have the last surnames in the beginning? Just curious. And, in frame 33, is that taking a picture of poor dead Barry?! All around good story \:\)
