Newest lot Im working on in Hidden Springs

Hey Simmers! TGIF!

So I spoiled myself the other night and got Hidden Springs. Its not as good as I thought but the view is terrific.

So I have been working on my first house in this new world.. here are some screenies so far. Hope to be finished all the final touches on this beauty by tommorrow and get it submitted. 

Then time to try ( I stress TRY) to take a break from creating. I have been making some headway in my TSR Uni tutorial homework.. and if I stop getting distracted by creative ideas I may just be able to get my beginners coffee table submitted to Riccinmbrs and Angela et al by next week! Keeping my fingers AND toes crossed on that one. It seems each time I sit down to continue .. i get interrupted .. by phone.. by teens asking for something or fighting LOL.. by the dog looking at me with those big brown "please feed me/walk me/pet me" eyes LOL.

The Specular is fixed: You can now add any Pattern you want to wether its shiny or not.

Please deinstall the old files because esp. the Specular fix will not work correct with both Files in Game

Thank you so much for your lovely comments regarding my first 3 dresses. I really enjoyed it reading through them and also am very happy to see those tons of downloads. :) 

I also thank sims2fanbg for her wonderful meshes, as she allowed me to make us of them. :) 

Soooo, now, talking big plan. *g*

First of all there will be 3 more dresses. 2 of them nearly done now. After they are finished I will start with my Valentine's set. I planned 4 different sets which will hopefully let your Sims have a beautiful Valentine's Day. :)

Will be on hiatus on storytelling.

Yup the subject says it all already, I'm just so sad.. I'm forced to go on hiatus because my laptop wont read sims anymore! I tried uninstalling and installing over and over and it haven't open again since. Its just awful, I miss playing sims badly and I miss writing too! 

Fortunately, I was able to do some shots for Into the Moonlight but only the first half of chapter 1 though, photos are already uploaded actually I just dont want it to be too much of a cliffhanger. I'll probably upload it when my sims is already fixed..hopefully. :( 

For now, I'll just give you a sneak peek on the cover of book 1. I hope you like it guys!

like seriously?!?! I have already contacted EA but um they didnt really help :( anyways my game keeps crashing for some reason.... i have 8 ep's so i was wondering if that was why? but it happens like right after something big... baby born, wedding,propasal,graduation,etc. it also happens every other season :( ive only experienced summer and fall for my sims i'd like to see snow and have a little egg hunt although i said i've seen fall it was just the first day :'( can anyone help me?!?!

THANK YOU TSR.. as I approach my 8th anniversary here.

Feb 5th 2005 was the day I joined TSR. Wow.. 8 yrs!

I wrote this on Thomas GB today.. and I thought.. you know what I want to blog this sentiment..

T o make a very long story short.. i stumbled across this site back in 2004 when looking for something new for my Sims2 game. Little did i know where it would lead me .. but 7 yr later and 1700 creations later ( not to mention a new addiction to Sims3 LOL) here I am! I am so thankful for TSR.. not just for great content but also for friends i have made.. a community.. things I have learned!! but also for the creativity I have been able to express and let out ( something that I didnt even know I had so many yrs ago when I first clicked on the website(

Thank you for allowing that to happen for me  TSR. And not even one Llama was harmed in all these yrs either! 

Even though I left for 3 yrs ( oh I checked in from time to time to check comments and GB and mail) I am so glad I came back... and I really look forward with excitement to what the future will hold for me on TSR!

New House I just uploaded.. 99 OceanView Place..

Hey Simmers!

Just wanted to share a new house I upoaded today ( and pending Approval) . Comments are appreciated! I tried really hard to do something different then I normally do.. and I am pleased with this house. It actually looks so much better in game! ( Playing a single professional female Sim in it right now hehe- a lot of house for just one sim!!) Full basement as well! You never know.. if she meets the Mr Right Sim .. this house may end up filled with bambinos in no time LOL. 

It's been a long time...

First things first, happy new year to everyone! Yes, a little late but better late than never :-)
It's been some time because of one of my children has serious health problems. I didn't feel like doing anything at all, especially not building or taking care of my website. I guess that's what life's about. But slowly the feeling is coming back although the situation at home isn't getting any better. As it's always nice to have some distraction Bob the Builder comes back to business :-)
Of course I also tried (that's correct, tried) for a few days to play with our great new expansion pack Seasons. Wrong, error, incorrect idea. I bought Monte Vista for a start because I wanted to start Seasons in a new world. I have been playing for a couple of days before sending my created family and world to the bin. My screen slowly turned into a dadaistic painting with strange triangular tiles. First I thought my Mac couldn't handle Seasons (having a gaming Mac, right) but some research learned my Mac in combination with Seasons (only Autumn) isn't the right marriage. In case you want to read some more because you're experiencing the same problem, read BluebellFlora's blog to find more info. Having this said I was fed up with all the graphic problems, glitches and bugs and for now I will leave Seasons for what it is, an expansion pack with lots of stuff I can use in my houses :-)
But I was able to take a look around in Monte Vista, the new Italian styled world. It's gorgious I can tell you. The buildings have this worn, old exterior. The little town on the hill looks every bit like a mediterranean village. It has nice spacious houses, although the bathrooms are a little too spacious to my liking, with hilly gardens. Even the terrain paint they used has this nice fading green colour instead of the normal bright, non-realistic grass. Pity though this grass wasn't included in the terrain paint in game. Some building are missing like a Festival lot but Graham Nardone, one of the producers on the Sims, build a Festival Ground especially for Monte Vista. Grab it from the Exchange 'cause it fits perfect in this world!
Most of my buildings are situated in Sunset Valley but now I will start some new buildings in Monte Vista, of course in the same style as the town. And for now, let's kick some a.. and start building.....

Late chapters (8,9,10)

Hey guys! I'll be announcing that why next chapters will be late because I am sooo busy with my school. I'll be graduating this March so a lot of things are piling up, hope you guys understand. Let me just say that my "The Promise" series is almost done 3 or 4 more chapters before the end. I hope you guys still read the rest and anticipate my next series! thank you!

New submission, finally!

Hello dear simmers,

I have been inactive for a long time now, but finally i have submitted a new set to TSR. Fingers crossed it gets approved. I have been working on this set for about a year now... not actively, obviously heh. It is tittled Ainola build items collection, including 3 fences, 1 railing, 2 trimmings for the fences, and a gable. The design is the same i posted a preview of last spring, check my screenshots.

I was hoping to finish this project during winter holiday, but unfortunately my comp fried at christmas day. Thank godness my harddrive was intact, so i could recover all my important files, including this set. For now i have to settle for my man's old laptop. I have installed most of the programs i need for creating. However, university continues to keep me busy, so its very unlikely i get another submission ready any time soon.

So, I've just tried to comment on a couple of screenshots and both have said that they won't be published until reviewed as they have been marked as spam!!! Since when have I been classed as spam? Bit disgruntled about that..anyone else have the same problem?

Latest build in Monte Vista

Hey Simmers,

Just wanted to upload some screenies of my latest edition to Monte Vista.. this old world style villa called 2 Via Isabella!

I had a lot of fun trying to make it look "old world".. but of course it has some modern updates like bathrooms.. main floor laundry, kitchen.

No pool or fountains though! A well in the backyard.. too ponds for catching those beloved anchovies! and a garden :)

What is on the horizon for me - Jan 2013

Happy Wednesday Simmers!

I wanted to let you all know what is up on the horizon for me - in terms of creations- for the Upcoming month!

I have started TSR University- a very slow start I will add - I am currently at the beginning stages of it and in the starter steps of reading the "required reading" which are excellent tutorials by Angela,Cyclonesue and Riccinumbers. Presently I must read both Wings 3D & Milkshape tutes and go step bystep through each one so that I can figure out which program suits me best! This is a long ardous task that will definitely take some time! Not only am I totally "green" with both programs.. I am also unfamiliar with all the "gobbldygoop" language! LOL ( It isn't goggdygoop to those who understand but it might as well be in French to me! Ohmy! eventually I will learn the language! LOL)

I have been battling some kind of weird sinus / allergy thing this past week ( it isnt even allergy season here in Canada! ) so my progress is again really slow. ( And of course Real Life keeps getting in the way of my Simming !! LOL)

Totally difficult to learn new tings when my head feels 200 pounds! LOL 

Usually the way I work when learning new things.. is I will take a crack at something.. get totally stumped and cross eyed LOL.. leave it for a bit ( until my head stops hurting!) - maybe a few hours.. days.. weeks.. it depends.. give myself sometime for the new info to settle somewhere in my brain.. then go back in when I have "digested it" and tackle it again . Sometimes I then "get it".. other times it will take several attempts and digestion periods before the proverbial light bulb goes off.

I suspect meshing is going to be the latter!

But on the bright side... I have learned how to recolor paintings in TSR Workshop. That is a victory forme! So I have some base game mesh paintings getting ready for upload as well as some Custom Content painting meshes that Ziggy28 so graciously allowed me to use! I have a painting series starting that I hope players Scientific nerdy Sims will enjoy! Part one will hopefully be uploaded shortly.

I also have had some ideas floating around in my head for Community lots and villa types lots in Monte Vista. Have some ideas of something different then I usually build.. but yet still player friendly and easy to play. We shall see what I come up with!

So on the horizon for the remainder of this long month is the meshing.. the paintings.. some more buildings... maybe patterns? ..

The Sims 3 Supernatural: ZOMBIES!!!...?

Do you have a zombie dilemma? Because I sure do. And I hate it.

Not only are they freaking creepy, they eat our crops and I'm scared to let my sims near them.

So. Here are instructions to EXTREMELY reduce zombie population in your world! 

1. Move in your sim.

2. Press ctrl, shift and c at the same time to open the cheat box.

3. Type testingcheatsenabled true into the cheatbox.

4. Shift-click on the mailbox and select the option "supernatural population control".

5. If you want to get rid of other supernaturals you can, but if you only want to get rid of zombies select the option "ZOMBIES!!!!"

6. It is done.

Creation Fail.

Well I created a sim and did everything it told me too...

I failed. Sooo... if you want any of my ceations you'll have to go to the sims 3 website to download them cuz I have no idea how. 

look up creator, x_Andii_x, you'll get my creations. :D

A New Legacy

I've started a new legacy and an accompanying blog (hosted on Wordpress).

My founder's name is Inigo Montoya, named not after the well-known character, but based on a certain beloved pet who may or may not be named after the aforementioned well-known movie character.

The legacy begins in 1790, and carries through history for the next ten generations. At least, that is the plan. The previous attempt at playing a legacy failed due to game corruption at the start of generation four. May this one have better luck.

Much of trying to mimic a historical legacy will be made possible with TSR custom content, as well as Sims 3 downloads, and some extensive building and creative framing on my part.

I want to Request something

I'm looking for someone that takes request for making sims. I really want a person that spends lots of time working on the project and pays close attention to everything including the very last small details. I have been looking for this celebrity and I can not find him. Brandon Lee, most famous for his last acting role in "The Crow." I would love to have him look like he did in 1993, with his curly longer hair. If anyone could help me find the right perfect person to take my request, let me know. Thank you!

Livingchair, Loveseat, Officechair, Desk, Coffeetable and so on. The Peachroom comes to you in three colouroptions and is fully CAStable. You will get:

Hey everyone! Within the whole month, I will be submitting a whole bunch of new sims for everyone to download! I will be putting up for download a project/collection of mine called "The Happy Pals Collection" which you have to look forward to. 

Then I will be uploading a request from the forum of a celebrity who some of you may not know. 

Then for last I will be uploading a lot! You just have to find out what it is. I have a hint: it will be very sweet! Hope you're looking forward to it! :)

New Year, New Story!!

Seta

This is Seta. She is my newest Sim. She is Bridgeport's newest singing sensation. She is already at the level 3 singing career (Talented Amateur). Since a very young age, she always wanted to sing.

She is a 1 star celebrity, but I expect her to become a 2 star celebrity within a few sim days. Her traits are Genius, Charismatic, Virtuoso, Natural Born Performer, and Star Quality. She loves cheesesteak, and listens to indie music. Her favorite color is lilac. She wants to make as many friends in the music industry as she can.

She can often be found at Eugi's or performing for tips in front of the theater. She looks forward to the day she can enter the Prosper Room without bribing the bouncer.

She will perform her first actual concert at the park this evening. She's excited about it, and hopes that she does an excellent performance.

when i try 2 download the TSR workshop it downloads but when i try and open it, it says " The contents of the file "TSRW_2_0_60.exe" can not be extracted with this program." Y?? Pls help im desperate.

So, I think I forgot to mention in my last blog post some other things I enjoy doing...

Other than playing Sims, I love to write stories for sims 3 or just flat-out writing stories for fun...

I have started plotting out two stories and would like to post a "taste" of each of them to see what you think.

So, what I'll do is in a duration of a week I'll try to do that little task.

Umm, I'm quite bored because I have not that many followers... In fact, it's quite obvious that I have NONE x---P

No, it doesn't bother me with any way. But I have to say that I'm quite disappointed...  I started this profile because I wanted to improve my English. But this has hardly helped with any way! Pity.

Nevertheless, TSR seems very nice and clean place. Comments are friendly and people behind them seem to be kind, too. I've fallen love with this place, no matter if I don't receive that many comments or anything. On the other hand, it's very comprehensible because I have no downloads to offer... One does simply not become famous with only screenshots! :D

Btw, I just updated some more screenies (with a bit better quality) if you are interested ;-) Remember that it's always nice to read all kinds of comments!
