Deleting Sims.

Hey guys, I am deleting my Sims games right now because I need to take my computer in to get fixed... so there won't be any updates from me for a while. My creations will still be available for download though, so keep downloading them. x Thank you for your wonderful comments too.

Hello everyone!! I'm just dropping by the wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.    For those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, I'd like to wish you a Happy Holiday.  Regardless, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season surrounded by family and friends.

As the title says, I wish everyone on TSR (no matter who you are or where you come from) a very merry Christmas! It's the season of giving and to be thankful, so let's all count our blessings and try to give back in a way or another. :)

I'm looking into submitting a couple of things onto TSR, and I've begun working on them already. So, I'll probably upload them by perhaps next year? I'll try my best to make it happen. :)

Since the introduction of my Mystique Dining Room Set, I have had a lot of wonderful comments.  I thank everyone that posted, it makes this process all the more fun and rewarding.

My most recent contribution is a set of Christmas Stockings.  Included in the set is 2 stockings each with 3 overlay variations you can hang on your sims wall to bring some lovely festive cheer to your sims home. Look for the Feliz Navidad Stockings beginning Dec 18, 2012.

Since a lot of downloaders have enjoyed my Mystique Dining Room Set, my next contribution is will be a Living Room Set to compliment the Mystique Dining.  This is one set in a project that will be an entire collection of furniture to compliment the Mystique Dining Rooms, including an office, bedrooms, and evenutally a kitchen and bathroom.  If you enjoyed the Mystique Dining Room you will definately want to watch for these sets in the upcoming weeks.

If you have any suggestions or requests of what you would like to see created, I welcome them on my guestbook.

that's one way, but only to remove backgrounds the other is to go to layer and add mask

Here's how to edit the alpha in GIMP separately from the RGB:


Right-click the layer in Layers tab of Layers, Channels, Paths, Undo, etc. blah blah window.

Choose Add Layer Mask

Choose Transfer layer's alpha channel. The mask will appear to the right of the base image in the Layers window.

To edit the alpha - in the Layers window select the layer mask, right-click, and set these options: 'Show Layer Mask' and 'Edit Layer Mask' checked; 'Disable Layer Mask' unchecked.

To edit the RGB - select the base image in Layers window, right-click, set these options: 'Show Layer Mask' and 'Edit Layer Mask' unchecked; 'Disable Layer Mask' checked.

When finished, right-click in Layers window and choose 'Apply Layer Mask'.

Save with DXT5 compression.

though I can't seem to do the last bit for some reason, it just stays all black. hmmm will have to try again, maybe it's because my image isn't showing right...oh well try again :)

Im not getting the hang of the sims3 workshop and i really need help, HELP MEH.  I don't know where to download photoshop 30 day trial im also trying to work on some makeup and i can't without it i really need help i know some people arn't reading this but still i need HELP                                                                                                   

Christmas Tree Garland 2012 Update

Hi everyone!

Apparently there were some issues with my Christmas Tree 2012 Ribbon Garland. Several people reported that it wasn't showing up in the game, and upon closer inspection, the file had gotten crossed while I was uploading it resulting in the Garland actually giving out the file for the Tree. If you downloaded the garland and it didn't show up, that would be because you were essentially downloading and installing the tree twice.

I have straightened out the files and both the tree and garland should be giving out the proper files now. If the garland isn't showing up in your game, please re-download it. I'm not sure when the site cache will update the download to the new file, but I have stepped up the Revision on the garland to "2" and have written an update notice in the description for the entire set as well as the garland itself. If you downloaded the set shortly after it was released and the garland does not show up, you will need to redownload it to get the proper file.

Trying out new things.

So i recently got the sims3 seasons havent really borken it in yet but thats not what this is about. I have been trying out some new hair for my sims but i have been mainly downloading newsea, shes great the hair is so life like and i think she really goes out of the box and has a variety i will give you guys a link to it on the bottom i reallly think you will enjoy her stuff i highly recomend it.

Back from Cuba - with 3 new lots!

Hi Simmers!

I am now back on Canadian soil.. from a week in the hot hot hot Cuban sun.. and to be honest.. I am darn glad to be home! Our holiday was so so ( put it that way) The highlight of our week really was when we met actor John Malknovich at our hotel and sat and chatted and drank with him for about an hour, Super nice guy! He was in incognito .. laying low key and no one recognized him ( and we didnt either( until after) and then we ran into him a 2nd time and chatted some more . Just had regular conversations,, no gushing or autographs. ( Didnt want to ruin HIS holiday or blow his cover! LOL) 

So on a few nights where we were in our room at night hungover LOL.. I built two lots.. 99 PalmLeaf Way and 23 Paradise Cove Road. My latest lot that came out today - 188 Hillside_ i had to wait to get back to upload.. as i had no internet while in Cuba and had some last minutes things to fix on it ( so i did the fixing in Cuba)

Last night I downloaded th new tuscan style world - Monte Vista- from EA games.. and have been playing with it. I had began to build a tuscan villa.. and got more than half way thru when my stupid game froze and i had to shut down and lost the whole thing! Argh! 

Not sure if I will attempt another tuscan villa.. we shall see. But since I am up pretty early on a Sat morning I will stop playing and start building .. have some ideas in my head!

THANK YOU to all the amazing downloaders who were crazily downloading my other recent pre-Cuban lots and also the wonderful ppl who were leaving comments and signing my GB while I was away. It was thrilling to log back into TSR after a week to have so MANY GB entries and comments!! I will try my best to go and reply to everyone! and also it was shocking to see my two latest houses had SO MANY downloads! One.. had almost a 1000 and the other 11oo! wow!

Gallery Kitchen Set updated

There has been an issue with the slots on the straight cabinet files. It has affected those of you who downloaded the whole set in one zip so if you are one of them please download the set again. The game will replace the old cabinets with the new ones automatically.

Those of you that have downloaded the single items already have the revised files so you don't have to do anything.

TODAY I finally bought Mansion&Gardens (a used copy since EA isn't selling them anymore...)! I'm so excited :-)) Don't know why it took me so long, it's a really nice stuff pack....

Anyway, I forgot to tell you about the Kudos affair ending: it turned out I was indeed still able to use them to buy subscriptions which I did. So no hard feelings anymore. Thanks for your comments on this :-)

Not a good month so far

My mom is in hospital on the ICU since last friday. Saturday was her 88th birthday and that is not a a good way to celebrate it. One moment things seem to go in a better direction and the next the opposit. I had many plans for uploading for Christmas but i'm afraid they have to wait, my focus and energy are towards my mom of course. So i want to wish everyone a positive and loving Christmas time and hope to have better news next time.

Little Bit About Me

Just like my first day of University, I’m going to blunder across this site for awhile, until I figure everything out and get into the swing of things. That was sort of how I came to the Sims back in the good old days of #1 and it remains so today.

I’ve been a long time lurker. An avid fan of the games, who, after awhile and x number of expansions later, would find myself downloading custom content. This has sort of been the marriage to the Sims franchise that I’ve nurtured for the last decade. So of course, as time passed, I would want to contribute as best I can.

Problem is I’m dreadful at photoshop and 3D programs. In a nut shell: I don’t even.

But I can build houses and I can write. I can tell stories and design sims to match those stories, without weighing them down with a billion mods, becoming the digital versions of a magazine super model; superfluous and artificial.

So hello TSR, I’m Sizigyy and I can be summarized as the tall, awkward, lanky girl who constantly bumps into things, and has bruised hip bones to prove it.
