The moment many of you have been waiting for is on it's way.� There isn't a date yet, but Maxis has announced that the Sims 2 patch is almost ready to be released!

What can you expect?

��-� Fixes "the jump bug" causing Sims with a large number of memories to reset, or "jump," when performing interactions.
� -� Visitors will no longer kidnap a baby or toddler by leaving the lot while carrying them.
� -� Prevents pixelization from showing through walls when the Sim is behind the wall.
� - �Maids can now clean up pizza boxes and baby bottles.
� -� Improved performance with Radeon X800 cards.
� -� The game no longer affects a user's modem settings when connecting to the internet via the modem.

wil there be a patch for stuff that you gownload and can not see it in yhe game there is no picture of ot in the little box
the litle box is light bleu.?

about this patch um this is the same thing that happen in the sims 1 but a buglar comes and i have an alarm and he got aressted but then i havent had one since i just hope maxis put that in for a last miniute update did anyone eles have this happen it realy sucks bc i like the burglars comeing and stealing my stufff anfd seeing the cop in them get in a fight $\:confused\:$ i need help with this one

I don't understand why EA/Maxis won't put out a patch or something so we can at LEAST use the floors and walls from the other sim games or maybe even pets? I have All the sim Games and now I want to play Sims 2 but I feel so limited after having all the choices, I end up going back to unleashed just because I get tired of looking at the same things All the time $\:\($ ?
