Next Expansion Rumor - Update!

If you�ll recall, in our last news update we mentioned that a member of another forum had emailed EA asking if there were going to be any Sims related products on show at E3, but received a reply saying that a teaser video will be shown at E3 and that the new expansion will be formally announced after the convention. Well, our first rumor has been spotted!

Simnamedchris posted in our forums letting us know about a post had been made at the official site�s BBS in this thread. In it, the poster claims to be the brother of TheSidDog, a user who is indeed at E3 as seen on TheSidDog�s website.

Keep in mind that this is an unconfirmed rumor but according to the BBS post, the next expansion will have pets in it. Since there is no pictorial proof yet though, don�t get your hopes up! However, if the rumor is true, we will possibly see a video later at TheSidDog�s website according to the BBS post. We will keep you updated on any further developments and findings.

Update - Rumor Confirmed! Well, some new developments have come to the fore! If you visit If you go to the EA site's video section and play the video entitled "E3 lineup" there is a short clip in there showing "The Sims 2 Pets". The video is huge, but here's some quick snapshots taken from the video.
