TSR File Manager Launches!

It�s not very often we blow our own trumpets here at TSR (is it?), but this is surely an occasion for mass trumpet blowing! For the past few months we have been developing a powerful new tool specifically designed to make the installing of user created files in the game as easy as a single mouse click. The New File Manager allows you to do just that. Browse the entire 41,000 item database here at The Sims Resource using our unique tool and install items into your game on a single click of your mouse. No need for Winzip or even Windows Explorer. Once set up, the File Manager will download, unzip and extract files to the correct game folders instantly in the background! You can even use it to browse the items you have installed in your game, and swap them out into storage to remove them from your game. Swap them in and out as often as you like without needing to download them again in future. This really is a powerful tool that we think people will find quick and simple to use, even if you are a veteran at downloading and installing. All the usual power tools that you associate with The Sims Resource databases are included too. Select which expansion packs you do and don�t own, and you can browse the content without seeing anything displayed that you can�t use in your game. Sorting, searching and custom categories are all possible. You can update the content from the website as often as you like, or just view the latest stuff since your last update. Online software patching even allows us to develop the tool further without you needing to download and patch yourself in future. It will all be done automatically when you load it up!
