In Loving Memory
Our beloved friend has passed away. My husband and I are completely devastated.
I wish to thank all those who left Christmas greetings in my guestbook and apologize for not replying.

We miss you so much
'There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; her eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.'
Rest In Peace My Faithful Friend
My next project is...
...the Key West style cottage! The exterior is completed and furniture placement has been determined, now all that's left to do is chose my colors, patterns and furniture styles. I was hoping to have it completed by Thanksgiving but since that is only a little over a week away it doesn't look like I'll be ready. It usually takes me a week just to do the screens and write the description. Can you believe it...just five weeks till Christmas! So little time so much to do!
Anyway, here are a couple of preview pictures. I haven't chosen a name yet so if you want, please feel free to leave a comment about your choice. My top choices are:
-
Canary Cottage (because the house is yellow)
-
Conch House (because of the style of architecture)
-
Key Wester or Key West Cottage
-
Bahama Breeze (because conch style architecture is typically found in tropical climates, especially in the Bahamas and the Florida Keys.)
Happy Simming!
Latest Project Update
Hi everyone! After spending several weeks dividing my time between three different projects, I am finally narrowing my efforts down to one. Things are moving along smoothly. I will make an announcement and post some preview pictures later today, so check back! Until then "Happy Simming!"
New Project
I'm currently working on three projects, a Victorian, a Key West style cottage that is beginning to look more like a Victorian and a modern beach front. I have had design issues with all three, so when I run into problems with one I take a break and work on another. Hard to say at this point which will be completed first. With the holidays fast approaching, time will become scarce but hopefully I can get at least one completed! No screenshots available just yet. Happy Simming!
Peagreen Cottage Story
Peagreen Cottage was built in 1917 by Silas Peabody as a wedding present for his beloved bride, Olivia. Silas had the entire house decorated in her favorite color. When she saw the house for the first time, Olivia is said to have exclaimed, “Everyone will be just pea green with envy!” thus giving the house its name. Shortly after Olivia's demise, Silas volunteered as a test subject at Landgraab Industries and was never heard from again.
Peagreen Cottage Approved!
Peagreen Cottage has been approved and will be published September 4!
Peagreen Cottage Finished!
Well, I did it! I finally finished my first TS3 house and uploaded the file this evening. Should be available for download soon!
Here are a couple of preview pictures:
Peagreen Cottage
As promised, here are a couple of screenshots of my first TS3 house, Peagreen Cottage. After many hours of frustration trying to get the roof just right, the house is finally nearing completion. Thank-you to cyclonesue for the wonderful roof tutorial!!!
My husband is recently retired and requires constant care and feeding...LOL which makes it difficult for me to find time to play the Sims these days, so no promises about when the house will be finished. Comments are welcome!
Hello!
Hi fellow simmers...hope you are all enjoying the Sims 3! After a slow start I am just beginning to get familiar with the game. I will have some news about my first project for TS3 posted soon!
