You Know You're Getting Old When.....

Hey! Thought I'd celebrate my birthday with a look at some of the things I've got to look forward to - and thought I'd share them with you! * You and your teeth don't sleep together. * You try to straighten out the wrinkles in your socks and discover you aren't wearing any. * At the breakfast table you hear snap, crackle, pop and you're not eating cereal. * Your back goes out but you stay home. * When you wake up looking like your driver's license picture. * It takes two tries to get up from the couch. * When your idea of a night out is sitting on the patio. * When happy hour is a nap. * When you're on vacation and your energy runs out before your money does.. * When you say something to your kids that your mother said to you and you always hated it. * When all you want for your birthday is to not be reminded of your age. * When you step off a curb and look down one more time to make sure the street is still there. * Your idea of weight lifting is standing up. * It takes longer to rest than it did to get tired. * Your memory is shorter and your complaining lasts longer. * Your address book has mostly names that start with Dr. * You sit in a rocking chair and can't get it going. * The pharmacist has become your new best friend. * Getting "lucky" means you found your car in the parking lot. * The twinkle in your eye is merely a reflection from the sun on your bifocals. * It takes twice as long - to look half as good. * Everything hurts, and what doesn't hurt - doesn't work. * You look for your glasses for half an hour and they were on your head the whole time. * You sink your teeth into a steak - and they stay there. * You give up all your bad habits and still don't feel good. * You have more patience, but it is actually that you just don't care anymore. * You finally get your head together and your body starts falling apart. * You wonder how you could be over the hill when you don't even remember being on top of it. Even Cuter!! - Update

Thanks for the comments on my pictures - and hopefully you'll be pleased to know that I've been working on them pretty much all day, and have come up with the following results: I did say there were quite a few in the set! I have had a go at making my own frames, but they always look totally dreadful , so I've resorted to using a light wood one which is tried and tested, so I know it's ok . I think it goes quite well with the colouring of the bears! So, what do you think? Bear Mad Cow!

Cute, Cute, Cute!!

Since you only seem to stop by when I post pictures for possible paintings, I thought I'd post a few more to see what you thought - and maybe get a few comments (Hint, Hint!!!!). My 'Fairy/Fantasy' spate is over, for the time being - I do have a few possible pictures that would fit into that category, but I'm not going to do anything with them at the moment , although I may sometime in the future! Ok, so my latest possible paintings project ...... I saw these & thought they were so cute: So what do you reckon? These are just 4 - there are quite a few others to make up a set - the only problem being, I think they would look best with a white frame, but I don't have a white frame available that would fit them, or they would fit! Any ideas from anyone would be gratefully received! Cute Mad Cow!

And There's More!

Hey! I've been through my carpet crazy phase, and now I seem to be going through a paintings phase (thanks to the fairy lovers ), so I've pretty much spent the last two days creating, packaging, previewing and testing paintings - something I'd been meaning to get around to for a long time, but never quite got there! I enjoy the creating part of it all, I just find doing all the packaging, previews and testing rather boring and tedious - think my poor old computer feels the same, having crashed out on me three times whilst doing it all . Still, I've now got six sets of paintings in hand, plus a few new walls/floors sets, and I had a go at something completely different - curtains! (Now that's got you all excited hasn't it?! - yeah, right!). Ok, it's not that special, but it's something new for me and I'm really quite proud that they've turned out still looking like curtains! - the first time I tried, well, I don't want to go there - let's just say complete disaster was an understatement! Anyway, if you're still with me(!), I just thought I'd let you know that I uploaded a new set of paintings tonight - no, not the 'Fantasy' ones! (you'll have to wait til tomorrow for them! - patience is a virtue, you know! - aaah, the power!!!). This time you get a collection of ....... Horses! Ok, so they haven't got a horn and they can't fly, but they are kind of sweet in their own way, and there seems to be a few people here who appear to like horses from what I've seen on my travels, so I thought I'd give it a go! So, any comments, suggestions, or even requests are welcome! Mad Mad Cow!

Fantasy Art - Any Takers?!

Hi All Following on from positive feedback and comments regarding my 'Flower Fairies' and 'Unicorns' paintings (Thanks very much ladies(?!!!), I have been looking for something a little different again and have come up with the following five pictures to possibly make into paintings: So what do you reckon? - Yes/No? Fairies & Unicorns!

Quick update! The set of 'Flower Fairy Paintings' I've been working on have been tested successfully in-game, and I think, have turned out really well (but maybe I'm just a little biased!). I will upload them later tonight, so hopefully they'll be published in a few days. I've also been working on the 'Unicorns/Pegasus' set, and this is the result: Re-sizing issues make the previews look a bit blurry, but they're ok in-game. Any thoughts or comments? THE Mad Cow!!

Prospective Fairy Paintings!

Kind of commissioned by hiedibear75, and seconded by LaurieR, a possible set of 'Flower Fairy' paintings . I haven't had a chance to test them in-game yet (probably won't get a chance til tomorrow), but just thought I'd give you a preview to see what you thought - all comments welcome Presenting: "The Flower Fairies" I'm not totally sure about the frame, but it's the only one I could use that didn't distort the pictures - unless you want fat dwarves or stick insects! (no offense meant to any fat dwarves or stick insects btw - live and let live, that's my motto! ) So what do you reckon? - good, bad, ugly, couldn't care less! (I'm in a silly mood now - that's what 6 hours of SimPE does for me - "I'm Going Slightly Mad, It's Finally Happened" (Queen, just in case you didn't know!), but I think it happened a long time ago! Crazy, insane, Mad Cow! - that's ME!

New Floor Tiles Collection!

Yep, we're back to floors!! Got a bit fed up with carpets, so I decided to do some tiles for a change, so here you have (or will be getting!) a set of 25 plain and simple floor tiles in pale pastel shades to match any of my walls from my 'Pale Pastels Collections' . As usual they are amazing value for all you bargain hunters out there (you know who you are!! - I wouldn't want your poor Sims to suffer!). Quick progress update - The final two sets of my single colour variation carpets have finally been published today, and my latest set of paintings is due for release tomorrow (4th July) So especially for all our friends in the US - Let's party!! New Paintings Collection!

Just to let you know that I have just uploaded a new set of paintings - time for a change after all those carpets! (still waiting for the final 2 sets to be cleared - perhaps they're getting fed up with them as well! ) Anyway, thought I'd try something a little different from landscapes and sunsets, etc. this time, so I've gone to the deepest, darkest oceans and come up with...... some dolphins (because they're everybody's favourite - and the one with the baby is so cute ), a couple of sharks for all you 'Jaws' fans (or maybe you just want to scare your Sims' neighbours ), and finally, a whale (might even be 'Willy'!).
