Hallo sunaire. seems like others have tried to help you as well and honestly I could not add anymore to what they have said. If you can not get better screenshots than buy a new graphics card. Mine isn't even the greatest, actually its kinda at the bottom of graphic cards to use for Sims 2 but it was cheap and is very convenient. But thanks for asking me anyways. anything else to ask, please feel free to.

Hey make sure you either figure out how to backup your appropriate files or else get in touch with me so I can help you BEFORE you install Bon Voyage. I'll be in and out of the web so you might be able to catch me between sim bouts. If there is a time of day or something you like best let me know, my schedule is usually pretty open.

I love winzip. When using winzip pick use evaluation version (free version)then on next window pick "extract", you can then select it to go to downloads or camera or where ever it says to place the download. I'd also get clean-pak if you haven't already. It's great for getting rid of duplicate or bad files. I can give you some help with that too once you've gotten them.

I'll see if I can try again. I'll take this from the top using strangetown as an example. #1 right mouse click a spot on your desktop and choose new. #2 name it "N2" #3 Open up your sims folder and open neighborhoods, once you see the "N001, N002, etc.", highlight the "N002" and select copy. #4 open your new "N2" folder so it's a small screen....in the middle of it right click the mouse and select paste. You repeat this for all of the folders I'd said B4. If you don't learn how to do this whenever you install an expansion like Seasons....or the upcoming bon voyage, you'll loose all your stuff and be back to MAXIS. All your sims downloads, stories, screenshots.....will all go bye bye. If you're still confused give me another jingle.

Backing up files: There are several files that need to be backed up or you could loose all their info. There are a few more that may or may not need backing up; that depends on you. 1) Downloads, and Neighborhoods are files that everybody (unless you play a MAXIS only game) should back up before installing any expansions. On your desktop make a folder for each folder that you need to have backed up. I name them with a similar name but NOT the SAME name. (I'll use Downloads as an example) I make a folder "DLs" (this is just me), I then open that folder so that it is a small window, I open the EA/TheSims2 I copy the ENTIRE Downloads folder then paste it inside the "DLs" folder so that when I open up the "DLs" there is a folder sitting inside it that IS the EXACT folder from your EA folder. Do the same with each of your neighborhood files. I make a "G1, N1, N2, etc." River View = G001, Pleasant View =N001, Strange Town=N002, Verona Ville =N003, and if you've made any custom neighborhoods they will be N004, N005, etc. The reason for naming the files similar but not THE SAME is so that you will not confuse them and over wright the wrong file. Theses are the ones E1 should do. IF you have a custom terrain (not paint but a neighborhood) you'll need to do the same with "SC4 Terrains" I just call it "SC4" on my desktop. There is a camera mod on ModTheSims2 that a lot of us like by Gunnmod, if you have this you'll need to also back up your camera folder as well....if you don't have those then don't worry about backing them up (because playing your game does not make any changes to these folders unless you added something to them deliberately).

If you are talking about making clothes not blurry as creations....I know nothing about that. If you mean when you take pictures; use mid to high graphics, as well as picture qualities. Also if you are getting blurry pix it could be that your graphics card is not as high as EA wants. Also one of the best tips for getting good pics is to have your sims on PAUSE then you can move the camera angle around to your likening. You will take longer to get things done, but get better pix and more of them. I try to use certain families for stories and so only SOME families are bogged down with picture taking. The other thing I do is try to come up with a "concept" and then try to take pictures to go with that story line, then I come up with the captions. Slowly but surely I get a story. Oh PS using the TAB key once you've paused will help you get some closer shots...just hit TAB again to get your normal camera back. BTW I have a bunch of upcoming chapters for my Hexagucci family....there will be a slightly different look to then.....but similar enough to tell they are the same sims (essentially), I didn't know how to back up files for expansions and now I do. Hey if you need any help with stories (how to do stuff or camera tips,etc)just drop me a line via GB (not PM I never remember to look at them )and I'd be glad to help. O BTW I am going to try doing some more with the Hexagucci (Hex-a-goo-chi) family, they'll technically be different sims as I lost the originals (there's a comment from me about it @ the comments section). Oh and I wrote another story "Camper Family part1". Keep @ it.

All I could tell you to do was to change sim detail to high and picture quality as high as possible too. Other than that I don't think there is anything els eoyu can do.

Well I'm guessing all you need to do is to change the graphics. All I did was go into the options and turn nearly everything high. Well except smooht edges, but that's because my game runs so slow with them... that's the only thing I can recommend. Hope this helps

If you're talking about the storywizard... it takes a few moments to upload the pictures and stuff... but the story doesn't usually appear to the next day. If it doesn't show up you should look om your profile page for your stories and see if it has been rejected. You have to follow PG13 remember.
