The forces between good and evil have always existed. From Darth Vadar and Luke Skywalker, to Superman and Lex Luthor. For every blindingly good force, there is an evil dark side not so secretly plotting to take over the world. But what happens when the evil outways the good? What happens when nobody does anything? Will the evil force succeed in ruling the world? Or will a new, good force, stand up and fight for the little guy?......

"Can...uhh I get you anything?" Henry nervously asked the female customer that usually came in around this time. She usually declined everything Henry offered and would continue reading her book, but she seemed different this time. "Would I be able to get a coffee?" she smiled slightly.
"Sure, I'll be right back"
Henry came back with her coffee in less than a minute. He carefully placed it on the table, his boss would never forgive him if he broke another coffee cup. He smiled at her and continued to serve some more customers.
After his shift ended Henry usually headed over to his mother's house for dinner. "You make me feel bad, always feeding me like this"
"Well Henry, if I don't feed you how am I supposed to know you're getting fed?"
"I eat." Henry said as he stuffed another mouthful of mashed patato into is mouth. "You always look so thin" his mother smiled sweetly, not wanting to offend. "Well I guess I'll just have to keep coming round here for dinner" he announced while he chased a rogue pea all around his plate then ate it, feeling victorious.
His mother stood up slowly and started clearing the table. "Oh don't do that all yourself, let me help, it's the least I can do" Henry offered. "Of course not! I'll clean up, I don't mind. Besides I know how clutsy you are, you're more likely to break my plates than help" she smiled as she picked up his plate and kissed him on the forehead. "So...any cute girls at work?" she asked. "Gee mum, you're subtle" Henry joked. "Nope not really......well...." he started thinking. "Well?" his mum asked as she drained the sink and turned around to sit back down. "She's not really at work, but she's at work..." He paused making sure his sentence made sense. "So she's a customer??" she asked catching on fast. "Yeah, she's a customer, a umm regular customer" he said carefully. "Have you talked to her? Well other than take her order?" she asked full of hope. "Umm no...not really, I mean it's a bit hard to talk to her when her nose is always in a book"
"Oh, well I think you should talk to her, maybe about her book or something. You could ask her out on a date?"
"Yeah....I don't know, I can barely talk around her" he told his mum. "Oh my little boy! You really like her don't you?" she asked getting excited. "Yes mum, I like her..." he sighed. She jumped up out of her chair, and hugged him as hard as she could. "I'm just saying I like her, not that we're getting married or anything"
"Must you always squash my dreams of grandchildren?"
"I'm sorry mum, I didn't mean to--"
"I've been waiting for you to get married for 28 years" she said more to herself than to Henry.
"You've been waiting for me to get married since I was a baby?" he asked.
"Well I'm you're mother aren't I?" she beamed.
"Yes you're my mother" Henry smiled as he stood and hugged her. "I have to get going now, it's getting late. I'll be round in the morning if you like, to help you with your gardening" he offered. "I'd love that Henry. But promise me you'll talk to this nice young lady" she told him. Henry rolled his eyes, but changed his expression to serious "I promise mum I will." Meanwhile on the other side of town...."I hope this works" he said talking to himself as he placed the precious vile into his machine for analysis. "Dan! You down here?" came an all to familiar sweet harmonic voice, that was wearing thin on his tolerance. "Oh come on" she whined "You promised we'd go out tonight". Dan huffed, which made Jacque pout. "You know the whole world doesn't stop just because you want to go out, I'm on the verge for the cure for cancer. Do you know how huge that is?" he asked. Jacque thought about it for a minute "So, who cares, why do you have to be the one to cure people from losing their hair?" she asked with clearly no understanding of what cancer is, and probably never will. "I'm not curing hair loss, I'm curing the disease 'cancer' people only lose their hair from cancer because of the chemo they undergo, which in fact poisons them and destroys their rapid growing cells, like the cancer and hair cells. I don't even know why I'm explaining this to you--" Dan finished getting rather annoyed. "I'm not stupid Dan!" she squealed. "You know just because I'm like...not as smart as you, doesn't mean you have to constantly put me down!" she pouted. "Oh well I'm sorry then, I didn't know you had such an understanding of cancer cells and chemo" Dan replied sarcasm thick in his tone. "Kemo? Don't you mean kermit? I have no idea what a frog has to do with anything Dan. Can't we just go out??" she whined as she finished her sentence. "yeah that's exactly what I was talking about, Kermit the frog" Dan muttered under his breath. "What did you say honey?" Jacque asked. "I uhh said let's go out" Dan sighed. "Oh yay!! Goodie!!!" Jacque squealed, jumping up and down clapping her hands. "It's not like cancer research can't wait, it's not urgent or anything" Dan said with a lot of sarcasm. "Oh Dan!" Jacque cooed "You're so funny!" "Do you want to go or not?" Dan asked with hostility. "Of course! Sweetie!" she beamed. "Well then hurry up." and with that they left... "Oh Mittens!! You poor little thing! I'm sorry I left you here all by yourself" Henry apologized to his newly acquired kitten. Henry proceeded to feed his kitten, and dote upon Mittens as if he were a child. Playing with him as he chased around stuffed mice, and played with his tinker ball. As the night drew on Mittens fell asleep on Henry's comfy bed. Henry got changed and took off his round glasses, to snuggle into his covers and enjoy his slumber that was often riddled with dreams of his regular customer....

love it. you have a real great style for making each story so exciting to where you can't wait for the next chapter. Your camera work is amazing, you make each picture so realistic.

I know you probably get this a lot, but Henry looks a LOT like Harry Potter. =3 Anyway, I'm a bit curious to what happens next- to how Dan, who is apparently trying to cure cancer at the time- actually ends up turning evil (I assume he turns evil)?

Oooh...interesting. I love it! I wonder what's up with the 'regular customer'? I really like Henry. I'm curious about..."Dan". Heading to part 2
