The next few months for Eliza were very busy. Settling in to her new role, as CEO of Two Peas Corporate Towers, didn't take much work but of course her work load had increased. Although the view from her large corner office on the very top floor made up for this. Returning home from work after a busy day was a delight for Eliza. With her and Will taking it in turns staying at each other house during the week, most nights Eliza would find him waiting patiently on her couch watching TV. Dinner would be cooked and prepared, waiting to be eaten. Will timed the serving of their food perfectly.
The moment Eliza walked in the door Will would great her with a welcoming kiss. She looked forward to this part of the day.
Sometimes though Eliza thought her life had become a little surreal. She had finally succeeded in her chosen career, she had found a wonderful man who was unlike anything she had ever imagined. She was happy and it felt, strange. After dinner they would cuddle up together on the couch and watch a movie. Although most nights it lead to making out on the couch which then lead to them moving into the bedroom. Will would often be in bed before Eliza. It seemed girls had a lot of things to do before bed that he was unaware of.
Every time Eliza walked out of the ensuite he would be stunned by her beauty. The way her slightly longer than shoulder length hair would fall over her decolletage. The way she walked with such grace around to her side of the bed and always looking amazing in her lingerie.
Will wasn't sure if she'd planned what she was wearing or whether it was just a part of her routine, but he wasn't about to complain.
Sitting down gently on her grandmothers bedspread Eliza would contemplate if this was what married life would be like.
Did she want to get married? she wasn't sure. Of course she had considered it, if she found the right man.
Eliza had always been an independent woman, always able to fend for herself. She wondered if getting married meant that she would lose some of her independence. After all she didn't want to end up like her mother, someone who relied on everyone else to do things for her.
They would often talk before going to sleep. Eliza would snuggle up to Will's bare chest, feeling his heart beat under her cheek. Will would shower gentle kisses on the crown of her head and sometimes Eliza would look up at him, unable to resist kissing him. When they would finally jump under the covers, their eyes would never leave each other and they would feel like they were the only ones in the world. A couple of days a week, while Eliza went to work, Will would drive down to Greenland Bay and visit his mother and younger sister. Susannah was always so happy to see him and once again he felt a twinge of pain in his chest from the years he had lost with her. Having missed the long talks that he used to have with his mother too, when he was younger, Will would indulge in a level of deep conversation with her when he was visiting. One afternoon Will took his usual run down to the local shops, people around town knew him a bit better now that he had become Eliza's boyfriend.
Always focused on his fitness he would give a polite nod or quick hello when passing the locals on the street and continue his run down to the beach.

Will's athletic abilities were outstanding. Since a young age he was always very physical whether it be playing football, soccer, or competing in the occasional marathon.
He'd never really considered having a career but since meeting Eliza, some of her drive and ambition had rubbed off on him, and he was considering applying for the personal trainer position at Sunset Valley stadium.
Running past the book store on the way back he notices a few stalls out the front selling cheap books. He knows Eliza is a fan of romantic novels, so he takes a quick browse through the stall.
Taking no notice of a man standing at the same stall until he hears him muttering something under his breath.
"Excuse me, do I know you?" Will asks not sure whether the gentleman was talking to him or not.
The man looks up and stares directly into Will's eyes and says, "I'd be careful if I were you, she's used goods" and then walks away.
Will, dumbfounded and not having a clue at what the man was referring to, walks into the book store to pay for the novels. Clutching the two novels in a plastic bag he runs back to Eliza's house for the night. Due to her promotion Eliza's salary had increased and on her way home one night she passes by the local Audi dealership to trade in her Tofunda Wagon for a new convertible.
With Will already waiting for her at home she drives straight there to collect him and they take her new car for a quick spin.
Will mentions on the drive that he reserved a table at the Little Corsican Bistro for dinner but left his wallet back at Eliza's house. So they drive back to Eliza's and Will makes a quick dash inside to collect his wallet.
Waiting patiently out the front, Eliza takes in the new car smell. Running her hand over the smooth black leather of the passenger seat she is suddenly blinded by headlights that park out the front of her house. Telling Eliza a small fib about forgetting his wallet, what Will really wanted to grab was the small velvety blue box from the bottom of his overnight bag that he had bought several weeks ago. Quickly closing the side gate he notices the streetlights have turned on due to the sky growing dark.
A car is parked across the road, the engine still running, lights on and drivers side door left open. Two figures are standing behind Eliza's new car.
Will's heart sinks as he recognizes the two dark figures moving closely together.
