Bella and Robert began settling into their new home. They also had a lot to do before the baby was born. They wanted to be prepared so they read every baby book they could get their hands on. Many days Bella didn’t feel well… But Robert held her and loved her. On the days she was up to it, she worked in the garden. This garden was shaping up nicely, soon she would harvest her first crop. Robert was so excited about the baby coming! He had spent a fortune on the nursery. This baby would have it all. Bella craved spaghetti and ice cream. Robert read somewhere that ice cream was not good for the baby, so Bella snuck out to the back patio and had some anyway. Really, Robert believed everything he read! Finally the baby came. A girl they named Hermia. Robert pampered Hermia. He loved his “daughter” so very much! Bella loved Hermia very much, too. She thought her daughter was the most beautiful child ever born. Hermia had constant attention from her parents. She was very loved. If Robert wasn’t holding her, Bella was. If Hermia cried in the night, Robert was always the first one up to take care of her. And when he came home from work, he went straight to the nursery to pick up Hermia. Finally the day of Hermia’s first birthday came. Bella baked a birthday cake and Robert decorated the “party area”. Bella was a good mother. While Robert was away at work, she spent the day working on Hermia’s skills. But when Robert came home he took over. He read stories to Hermia and taught her to say “daddy”. Bella taught her to say “mommy”. Robert and Bella both did their share of potty training. And teaching Hermia how to eat with a spoon. When Hermia turned 5 years old, Robert and Bella gave her the best birthday ever. They put a playground in the yard and Hermia was very happy. But then the doorbell rang. The visitor was a man who Bella had not seen for a very long time. He was Fae, like her. His name was Puck. Puck was Oberon’s best friend and helper. Bella didn’t know, but Puck had been watching her for a long time. He had done the math and knew that Hermia was not Robert’s daughter, but Oberon’s. He had told Oberon about Hermia and Oberon was very upset. Oberon did NOT want his daughter to be raised by a mortal. He knew that the ways of mortals would ruin Hermia. And so, as his right in the Fae world, on Hermia’s 5th birthday, he took Hermia from her mother and sent her to live with the Queen of the Faeries, Titania. Titania would raise her as a Faery and teach her all that she needed to know. And so Bella and Robert said good-bye to Hermia. They were heart-broken. And now Robert knew the truth, that he was not Hermia’s real father. He was terribly depressed and didn’t even want to talk to Bella. He loved her, but his pain was so great he could not bear to console her.

Oh...I don't know how Bella just let Puck take her daughter! \:\( I feel for her and Robert, since he had thought Hermia was his but wasn't. I wonder if they can move on from this...

Oh no! How tragic! \:\( Bella only has herself to blame and now she is alone. Doesn't she believe in karma? Poor Robert, he must feel like a fool. I must find out what happens next.... \:\)

Good Job! You've got me hooked on this story.

So Bella's perfect little family has been split in three. I can only imagine what Titania will tell the child about her true origins, she must be rightly cheesed off at Bella! As Jen said, Bella has only herself to blame. It is Robert my heart goes out to, poor chap had no idea!

I read part 7 first so I feel badly for Bella right now. \:\( If I hadn't, I would've said it was her fault (really). Since I read part 7 first, I noticed picture 17 had a nice 'foreshadowing'. Hermia's conversation bubble has broken marriage rings. Maybe Hermia can tell the future? \;\) Anyhow, I've been reading this storyline and it's really cool how you add the sim parts of the game and the magic parts together. Cool. Love the faerie store stuff too. I didn't like it in the store pics but I can see from here that they are really lovely. Thanks!
