Please enjoy :)

Please enjoy :) That night Agnes couldn't sleep a wink, her daughter had run away and it was all her fault. 'I should have told her, I should have told her,' the words went around and around in her head. All the stress couldn't of been helping the baby. She curled up on the sofa, tears streaming from her eyes and began to sob. In the early hours of the morning, she heard the door open slowly, she quickly got up and ran towards it, "Lily!?!?!" But it was only James. He shook his head, a sad look upon his face and went to embrace his wife. "James, I don't know what to do, I'm soo worried. And this stress can't be helping the baby." "Wha-t-t-t-t.......b-b-b-baby?" Agnes looked into James' eyes, "I'm pregnant." After breaking the news to James, who was delighted yet anxious, Agnes knew that sitting around and crying wouldn't bring her Lily home. So she went to the one person she knew Lily would run too, her real father, Jeff. Agnes got in her car and drove, desperate to save the relationship she had with her daughter. Agnes got out of her car when she arrived to see Blair and Jeff standing at the door, almost as if they had been waiting for her. With her head held high, Agnes watched as Jeff walked towards her. "Tell Lily I want to speak to her." Jeff gave a little sinister laugh, "you're joking right?" Agnes' eyes narrowed, "I know m-our daughter is here!" Jeff looked at Agnes, his eyes serious, "she's not here. I tried calling her but no answer, I've put in a call to work to look for her but so-far nothing." Tears formed in Agnes' eyes, where was Lily? The rest of that day and well into the evening Agnes spent looking for her beloved Lily. "Lily, Lily! Come home! I'm sorry I never told you! Please, I love you!" Suddenly, Agnes felt something wet. She looked down to see her sweat pants were soaked. Pain riddled her body. "Not now, please not now!" Once again, Agnes was alone and about to give birth. Agnes jolted awake. She looked around confused, not recognising her surroundings. She slowly got up, clutching her head, "was it all just a terrible dream?" Looking around the room once more, Agnes became worried. She then heard the soft crying of a baby. She followed the sounds to a small bedroom where, in a crib, lay a baby. She walked over to the baby and looked at it. It was a boy and the image of James. She picked him up in her arms. As she did, images flashed through her mind of announcing the pregnancy to James and Lily, the birth and the naming of the baby. "Edward?" The baby smiled, reaching out his arms to her. She smiled and cuddled him close. "Little Edward." Agnes heard movement in one of the other rooms. Curious as well as scared, she walked out of Edward's bedroom and into the room where the noise was coming from. Agnes opened the door carefully, still holding Edward, and peered in. Lying on her bed and reading a book was Lily. Agnes let out a little sigh of relief, causing Lily to look up. "Hey mum, feeling better?" Agnes walked towards the side of the bed, looking at Lily. "Ummm...yes, thank you." Lily smiled then went back to reading her book. "Good. Oh, by the way, dad's at practise." Agnes stared at Lily. "D-d-d-dad? You mean, Jeff?" Lily looked up from her book, one eyebrow raised, "no, James is at practise, why would Jeff be at practise? He works for the police." "But Jeff i-i-i-is your father, your real father?" Lily closed her book, giving Agnes a look as if Agnes was going mad. "I know Jeff's my real dad. You and James told me when I was 10. I've always called James dad though, and I called Jeff, Jeff. You know that."Of course I do," Agnes said, giving out a little nervous laugh. Lily smiled, "maybe you need to lie down for a little longer." Lily got up off her bed and went towards the door. "Hey mum, let me take a photo." Agnes nodded and stood still, still holding Edward. Lily chuckled as she took the picture. "You look so worried mum, relax a little." Then Lily opened the door and went downstairs. Agnes didn't move, had she just been dreaming? Was her life perfect? Had everything gone the way she planned? Was this finally her happy ever after?
