Hey guys. Sorry for delayed update- I have been busy with work :( Here is a short part. Angel stared at the telephone in front of her. The voicemail button flashed to show the message on the machine. She'd played it so many times now she knew it off by heart. A sultry, flirty female voice had left a message for Jackson. She'd said she'd missed him and couldn't wait to spend time with his bed. It made Angel sick. Jackson and herself had been practically dating since they declared their feelings for one another but this questioned everything he'd felt for her. Strong and defiant she refused to show any emotion but inside she was crumbling. She'd called her Mum for moral support, poured her heart out to her and knew her Mum had been right about rushing into a relationship with Jackson. But her Mum didn't condemn her feelings and was supportive and promised to be there when Jackson arrived. Angel had tried to remain composed, as she heard the door close and Jackson's familiar footsteps.

"Hello you," he smiled when he saw her, "I missed you." He leaned in to touch but Angel pulled away.

"What's wrong?" he asked worried.
Angel said nothing but walked to the phone and replayed the voicemail. She watched his face as he listened to it, waiting for a flicker of guilt or admission but none came.

"Angel, it isn't what you think," Jackson assured her.
"How could you do this to me?" Angel snapped.

"Angel please...I called it off with her the moment I fell for you. You have to believe me."
"I should've known a leopard never changes its spots!" Angel argued over him.

"I have changed damn it!" Jackson snapped.
He was angry now and desperate.

"Ever since I met you I changed, for the better. You've made me a better person. Believe me. You wouldn't love the guy I used to be," Jackson assured her.
"I love you, only you," Jackson said when she didn't reply, "Noone else." His eyes were honest and truthful. Angel looked away knew he meant what he said. However, his past affected her. He'd been a player and she had to deal with women throwing themselves at him. "Ok," Angel replied looking at him, "I believe you, but any more women and I am out. I can't cope with that." Jackson nodded, relieved. He knew there would be no more women because Angel was the one he wanted.

"I love you," Jackson said honestly as he touched Angel's cheek.

"I love you too," Angel smiled as she kissed him softly.
Later that night, Angel had a discussion with her Mum.

"You did the right thing honey, he loves you," Mary assured her, "He's changed."

"I know," Angel smiled.
Over the next few weeks, Angel and Jackson continued their relationship. Jackson knew Angel was the woman of his dreams and perfect in every way. He saw the way men stopped in the street to look at her. He'd been used to that himself and having women in his gaze at all times. Now Angel was the only one he saw and he wanted to have her to himself.

So he phoned his son Elliot and had a man to man discussion. Then he asked Mary Riley for her permission. She agreed.
That day, after their usual jog (to which Angel was mad about because Jackson beat her this time) Jackson was going to do what he'd wanted to do since the day he met her. He kissed her hand and told her,

"I've cooked us some food." Angel raised her eyebrow and laughed,

"You did?" she asked shocked.
"Well it best be fattening, I have burnt off the calories after all," Angel smiled, as they headed inside. It was after the lovely meal that Jackson asked Angel what he'd wanted to ask her.

"Angel, I want to know if you would do me the honour of marrying me? Please?" He'd asked hopefully.
The ring was beautiful, as was the proposal. Angel hadn't expected this to happen and not in their sweats.

"Of course I will," Angel replied and Jackson breathed out finally. The nerves had made him hold his breath in waiting for her reply. Angel kept looking at the ring, unsure if she could ever feel any happier and content than this. She smiled happily. She couldn't wait to tell everyone and anyone how she felt. And her future was about to finally begin
