Here is the long awaited part 6.

Here is the long awaited part 6. Angel had needed saving the moment she'd got that terrible phonecall. She'd forgiven Jackson, as she loved him deeply and cared about him. But that didn't mean she was in love with him still. Jackson knew this and still clung to the belief that one day things might change. Angel wasn't her usual happy self the past few weeks but he found a way to cheer her up. He bought a large house, in a nice secluded area and allowed her to decorate it how she wanted to. Sure it had taken months and lot of money but it kept them busy. Now too pregnant to work, Angel spent her time seeing her friends and avoiding the headlines. Her friends helped keep her going when things got rough. Angel knew Jackson adored her but she found it hard to forgive him. He hadn't heard from Brooke since her admission that she was pregnant with his child. It had been the main headlines for a long time but nothing was then said of it. Occassiongly the press commented on Angel's pregnancy and there were rumours that she had married Jackson. Something they never denied but it definately wasn't true. Jackson was even more excited about being a father than she was about being a mother. He was like a child again and loved seeing Angel blossom as she carried his unborn child. He still adored Angel but he respected that she wanted to take things slow for now. And of course Elliot was thrilled at the thought of having a new brother or sister. And he couldn't wait to meet the baby. Jackson had made a promise to himself that he would be good father and not let the baby down the way he had Elliot. It was about 8 months into her pregnancy when Angel got the call that would change her life. It was from Brooke, telling her she wanted to see her as soon as possible. Alone. Angel agreed to meet her and wondered what bombshell she wanted to drop on her. Angel was stunned when Brooke arrived. She was still in her work uniform and she most certainly wasn't pregnant.

"Hello Angel," Brooke smiled and Angel did her best to, "I know you hate me and I am the last person you want to speak to right now. But I had to meet you, to speak to you before it all comes out."

"Ok," Angel replied unsure of how to react.

"As you can see I am not pregnant. It was all a lie. I was desperate and struggling financially with some debts and I didn't know what else to do. Jackson and I ended long before you and him fell in love. I had to tell you because I know it must have caused you great stress," Brooke said.
Angel knew she should've felt anger towards this woman but for the first time in a long while, Angel smiled. A happy smile. A relieved smile. With that she said her goodbyes to Brooke, thanked her for coming and asked her to leave. Brooke left and Angel felt a weight lifted off her shoulders. Jackson had felt the same way too when Angel had explained what happened. Except he was a lot angrier and wanted to shout all sorts of rude words at Brooke. But Angel told him not to think about it anymore. He sat next to her, wrapped his arms around her and said,

"This has caused us so much strain and wasted time, I am so angry."

"It's ok, we're right where we need to be now," Angel said philosophically.

"What do you mean?" Jackson asked.
"I mean," Angel said as she wrapped her legs across his, "Is we are still in love despite everything. And now we have a baby to prepare for."

"I love you Angel," Jackson smiled, "You really are back now. You've been in a depression these past months but now you're back and I am so happy you got through it."

"You helped me," Angel replied.

"I helped to cause it," Jackson frowned.

"No more sad times," Angel said, "Now kiss me, like you mean it."
And he kissed her properly. Passionately. It was their first proper kiss for months. He loved her with all his heart and soul. For Jackson it was pretty much a no brainer about what he needed to do next. He'd organised a nice BBQ feast on their veranda. Angel loved it, "You're so romantic!" she cooed laughing at the burgers as she made a toast to her.

"To us," Jackson smiled.
Then he surprised Angel with a small black box. Angel knew what was in that box. It could only be... Angel was shocked, she hadn't expected soon! "Open it," Jackson said, as his eyes sparkled. She opened it and was close to tears it was so beautiful. "Try it on?" he asked smiling as she admired the engagement ring. As she slid it on she beamed, "A perfect fit!" Angel said.

"Will you marry me then?" Jackson smiled back. Angel nodded happily.
She touched his hand, they didn't need to utter any words. The love between them said it all. A few weeks later, Angel awoke from her bed with a start. Sharp pains in her stomach, timed, regular and painful. There was a wet patch where she'd slept and she knew what this meant...

Her waters had broken and the baby was coming!
