In the dead of night and using a scaffolding, Lara made her way to the rooftop of Natla Technologies. She found an air vent and travelled through it until she made her way to Natla's office. Lara found a remote on the desk and switched the power button. A monitor turned on in front of her. It opened to a screen with two options: Larson and Dupont. Lara selected Larson and immediately a recording of her walking into Qualopec's tomb showed on screen.

"Looks like our girl's pulled it off" came the unmistakable voice of Larson.
The camera angle moved and you could see Larson on the monitor.
"Not that I'm complaining boss, but what makes you so sure she's not going to bring it back herself?"
"Lara would never part with the Scion; she's far too obsessed with it. Just like her father"
The recording ended, and Lara was back to the screen before. This time she clicked DuPont and got a recording of a conversation between Pierre and Natla. "Ah, monsieur Dupont, you have something to report?" came Natla's voice.
"Good news madame, your information was correct. I have located my piece of the Scion."
The camera angle changed and DuPont zoomed in on a small house.
"Viola. It is buried under a place called--"
Lara paused the recording, recognizing the house.
"St. Francis Folly"
Lara made the strenuous climb up the huge mountain side with her father's words filling her mind.

"I've acquired new evidence that leads me to believe that it is the Scion itself that is in some strange way, a vast library of information to rival even Alexandria. I am convinced that, if I can obtain it, I will finally discover what happened to my beloved Amelia."
When she reached the top she noticed a small camp site that Pierre must have been using. Lara picked up one of the many cans strewn along the ground.
"Oh Pierre, you litter bug" she said aloud.
Lara entered the huge double doors that remained in front of her to find a vast open room. There were a dozen pillars lined up on either side of the path and the architecture seemed very roman-esc. "Hello Lara." Pierre's voice echoed throughout the room, bouncing from wall to wall, making it impossible for Lara to pin-point his location.
"Natla doesn't honor her contracts, Pierre. I'd move on if I were you" Lara said scanning the room as Pierre's laughter reverberated off the walls.
"No, mademoiselle, Natla and I understand each other. I find things for her and she rewards me handsomely" He replied with his thick French accent. "But you seek the very things she does" he continued "That's why you are not trusted" "I trust my instincts." Lara said as she quietly peered behind a pillar to find no-one there.
"And that is why you're in second place. I am a professional, mademoiselle. I focus on the job, and I get paid."
"There's more to life than money Pierre" Lara said as she quietly searched the room for him. "This isn't life, mademoiselle, this is business. You're compulsion prevents you from seeing the difference"
"It hasn't prevented me from getting a piece of the Scion" Lara said as Pierre creeped up behind her. "How's business for you?" she asked still scanning the room to find Pierre.
"Touche" he replied backing off a bit "So then, why don't we see who's compulsion gets them the next piece" Pierre said withdrawing into the shadows and out of sight.
