Remy came to the apartment with me and on the way here she explained everything. I sat on the couch trying to process why our parents had forced my older sister to leave, they knew that she had the power to become a Hunter and therefore was dangerous, but she could have protected us. Maybe if my parents had kept her then they would be alive. "Look, if you need time to sort things out then I can leave you to it," Remy said.

I shook my head. "You are not leaving, please sit. I kinda understand everything now."
Remy slowly sat in the chair beside me and she stared out the window at the smaller buildings around this one. Outside I could see a waterfall and I was captured by its beauty. Remy turned to look at me with a smile on her face. "That waterfall reminds me of a story. Would you like to hear it?" "Of course I do!" I replied.

"It's not a happy story but it's also a part of the reason why I became a Hunter, maybe a bigger part than any other reason..."

I felt myself being dragged in by every single one of Remy's words and soon her memory became a vision...
A tropical paradise. It gave me a sense of longing as I stared at the waterfall but I was ripped away from the scenery to what Remy was telling me. A teenage Remy played in the ocean with a boy around her age. They seemed to have a lot of fun and Remy's laughter filled the area.

"Liam," Remy giggled. "We're suppose to be training."

Liam splashed Remy again which forced her to laugh.
"Oh my god you're gonna get it," Remy stated and sent a splash of water at Liam.

He tried to jump out of the way but every single drop got him. Liam stared at a laughing Remy and a smile appeared on his face.
"Okay, okay, truce you win," Liam said. "Let's head up to the Botanic Gardens and see if my mum's finished her shift." Just as they were walking out of the ocean, Liam grabbed Remy and kissed her. I could feel all of her emotions as she kissed him back. After their kiss they changed into their clothes and ventured up to the Gardens. They entered the Botanic Gardens to find a Vampire standing in front of them wearing too much make up. Liam shoved Remy behind his back which forced the vampire to smirk. This was the first time Remy has come face to face with a vampire. I could see it in her mind and I could sense the panic as Liam walked towards the vampire. Remy was prepared to fight the demon in front of her. "You'll do," the vampire purred as she grabbed Liam. "You'll do just nicely, a Hunter would please my master."

The vampire grabbed Liam's arm and her mouth widened as fangs poke out.
She bit down on his arm and a red fog began to seep around them. Remy was frozen with fear as she watched the red fog swirl around the boy she loved.

"Liam," Remy whispered.
Liam stared at Remy with a horrified expression, he was a strong Hunter and yet he was being bitten.

"Remy go, run! I don't want to hurt you!" Liam yelled.
The red fog had bats flying through it as it covered Liam's body. The vampire pulled away and licked her hand so the blood didn't linger her mouth, she didn't want to feed just transform someone. My attention was forced towards Remy and I watched as she wiped a tear away.My poor sister, she had lost so much in her life. My attention was turned back to the vampire and I watched her fang retracted and she dragged Liam away from Remy... The memory was ripped away from me and I collapsed onto the ground. Tears streamed down my face and I felt as if I was going to be sick. What had I just seen?

"Remy." My voice trembled as I spoke. "What just happened?"
Remy pulled me to my feet and hugged me. I squeezed my sister as she explained things to me.

"It's just a vision, it means we are connected on a higher level than other siblings," Remy explained.

I stared up at her as a pain hit my side. I winced and Remy pushed me back so that she could stare at me. Her eyes widened when she stared at my face.

"Ella, what's wrong?"

"Help," I wheezed as I blacked out.
