Goddess, a story about the mythical past of our ancestors, the magical belifes, the ancient rituals in the life of an egyptian Queen willing to do anything to become a Goddess. As the sunshine rose under the Egyptian palace of the Queen Nafirni, her loyal servants, Kemisi and Hariri, woke up to prepare the Queen's fruit, freshly picked from the nearby oasis and delivered in baskets made of palm leaves that grew only in the area of Thebes. The Queen wanted every fruit to be washed in holy water, blessed by the high priests in Alexandria, to give her prosperity and wealth. While her trusty servants were preparing the fruit, the Queen herself was enjoying her morning bath in the palace's pool, filled with carefully picked water lillies from Egypt's biggest jewel, the Nile. The Queen Nafirni always wanted to feel serene, while she was bathing, so she used various luxurious soaps and perfumes. For her there was not anything more calming than a morning bath. Meanwhile, the high priest Komosiri was exploring the chambers in the temple. Reading the ancient scrolls written by the late high priests and understanding the true meaning of what was written on the papyrus, made of the aquatic plant Cyperus papyrus, Komosiri went to the palace to inform the Queen Nafirni of the scroll, he had found. In the palace, the Queen Nafirni was sitting on her gold-plated throne expecting her lover, the prince Nifi-en-Ankh. While the Queen was waiting for her lover, she thought of building a shrine to the goddess Isis. So that she will be closer to the Gods, through the high priests and the sacrifices that will be made in the sacrificial chamber. Her thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of the prince Nifi-en-Ankh. Seen from her servants' eyes, the love between them was one of the greatest loves that ever was on the planet Earth. It was certain that the Queen had feeling for the prince, and it was more obvious that the prince had too. Although the Queen continuously refused to answer the prince's proposal, she knew that the lavish wedding ceremony will be made soon. While she was resting in one of her chambers, the high priest Komosiri aproached her. Although she didn't want to be disturbed in her resting time, the Queen knew that the subject that was going to be discussed later on, was very urgent. So with her suddenly awaken eyes from the nap before, she allowed the priest to stay and tell her what the problem was. The Queen took Komosiri to secret chamber, where nobody could hear them. The high priest told the Queen that while he was exploring the chambers in the temple, he found out a papyrus scroll, written by the late high priests. One of the chapters of the scroll consisted a ritual that could make a mortal Queen into a Goddess. The Queen always wanted to be closer to the Gods, but she didn't even expect that one day she will become one of them. But the high priest told her that the rutal consisted of sacrifice, and not sacrifice just anybody, but her greatest love of all. As she heard those words, the name of her prince Nifi-en-Ankh was in her thoughts. Tears were dropping on the delicate face of the Queen, as she understood the ritual. But deep down in her soul, she knew that the ritual must be done. The high priest carefully read the ritual, and made a poison from herbs, roots and animal extracts. The poison was made to taste and smell like just an ordinary beverage. Put in a golden bottle, the poison was waiting for someone to drink it. The Queen invited the prince in the royal chamber to discuss the question considering their marriage. The prince was glad to be invited, it was his happiest moment in his life. The Queen gave him the bottle with the poison, telling him that this was something that she made especially for him. The poison was soon in Nifi-en-Ankh's veins. The Queen quickly ran off the room with tears in her eyes. Dressed in her deity clothes the transformation was soon to be complete. Her metamorphosis from a mortal to a Goddess. But only one thing was in her mind, and it wasn't her transformation. It was the pince. She kept asking herseft, whether she had done the right decision. Was the prince's sacrifice too big price to pay?
