Description
If you liked my 'Red Dragon' lot, I think you will love 'Tofino'.

'Tofino' is an architecturally-significant, medium-sized lot (30 x 30) which captures the essence of the classic 'West Coast Contemporary' home. Named after the small surfing town on the west coast of Vancouver Island, this home is ideally suited for rugged natural surroundings. Rough brick, cedar shakes and lots of natural wood define the exterior and relate beautifully to it's natural landscaping, and expansive glass captures the light and a spectacular view. But the main focus of this home is the dramatic waterfall under the entrance bridge that stretches under the house, all the way to the rear yard and ending into an infinity pool.

The dramatic interior design is based on a mid-century theme, but is empty and completely open to your Sims's decorating ideas. Designed for main-floor living, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, large kitchen and formal dining area across the pool bridge from the living room. Brick floors cover most of the home for easy care, and the wooden floors in the bedrooms have been intricately installed to act as a graphic element. Other design elements add character, such as the mirror-back bookcases in the living room. the fabric-coverd kitchen cabinets and, of course, the open-air access to the pool. There is a quiet tree-top study above the dining room, and the lower level offers a 2 car garage, media room, gym or 4th bedroom and a third full bath. There is also a walk-out to the brick terrace, and a second, separate swimming pool.

Please enjoy this latest lot from Qube Design. Total design time approximately 40 hours, and it really was a labour of love. Please download the free objects that complete this spectacular home:

Halogen ceiling spots (package file format, and the only package file I have) is compliments of Simonetry at www.modthesims.com.

***Note: to maintain the forced water levels, please follow these steps***

1. Download, then go into the game and choose the lot for this home.

2. Enter 'shift-control-C' to access the cheat codes.

3. Type in 'Constrainfloorelevation False' and hit enter.

4. Place the home on the lot. Rotate if necessary.

5. Once placed, click on the home to 'build/buy'.

6. Enter 'shift-control-C' to access the cheat codes again, and type 'Constrainfloorelevation True'.

This should establish the house into your game with the forced pool elevations in place.

You may re-upload this lot with significant alterations or decoration, all I ask is that you credit Qube Design with the original concept and design.

Your magnum opus, to be sure Paul. I like the way you've brought together a lot of your recent breakthroughs in scale and landscaping. Brilliant use of lighting and landscaping throughout. best, William

I love this house!
However I want it placed in the same rural surroundings as on your pictures (not the beach address it says in the game),but can´t find the place in Riverview nor Sunset.
Will you please tell, what address and town you placed it in? \:\)

I downloaded this house months and months ago when it was a free download. I lost internet for about 6 months and during that time had to uninstall my whole game and start from scratch. So now I no longer own this house and it is breaking my heart that you made it subscriber only.... this was my fave house.....
