Relationships

• During a date, Most Sims get a 'Positive Date Event' for having their picture taken together in a booth. Avoid it for Shy Sims though, as this will count as a 'Negative Date Event'.
• A date that could be defined as ending "horribly" could result in your receiving a flaming bag of poo on your doorstep! Aim for a "Dream Date" instead, as a bouquet of flowers is far more welcome!

• When out on the town looking for a hot date, keep a bottle of cologne in your Sims' inventory in case that special Sim has a hotspot for it.
• The "downtownies" (Sims from NL Downtown areas) have better jobs, higher skills and more money, making them great targets for Sims looking for a relationship!

Careers & Skills

• The new "Grilled Cheese" Aspiration comes with a single lifetime want of eating 200 grilled cheese sandwiches!

Personalities

• Vampires will not cast a reflection in any mirrors. Creepy!
• The "Scope Room" Self Interaction will indicate which Sims in the room you are attracted to.

Food

• Crepes are a new desert Sims can cook at home and, like the Baked Alaska, can be a gastronomical delight, being set aflame as they are served. A Sim will need a cooking skill of 7 or more to prepare them though.
• When eating out you can use the "Skip out on Bill" option to gain a free meal. Avoid capture for 45 seconds to get away with it!
• A tired Sim can make a complete fool of themselves if they fall asleep at the dining table during a group gathering!
• Free meal coupons for restaurants can turn up in the mail as a result of eating out. Drop it on the ground to pass it between Sims if you wish.
  

Build Mode

• Garages can be made bigger than the driveway section by using matching floor tiles. Try "Asymmetric Tesselations in Umber" or "Square Off in Ochre" for Brick, "Sid's Cement" flooring or "Terrific Tarmac" asphalt for concrete.
• With Nightlife, floor tiles will now cover sloped terrain without all the hassle described for the basic game!

Buy Mode

• All Sims cars' have infinite seating, so you can transport as many Sims as you like for a gathering or Downtown trip.

Gameplay

• Career and Aspiration Rewards, Personal Photo's and Art can now be taken with them when a Sim moves, thanks to the new Inventory feature.
