I got to know the amazing world surrounding "The Sims" quite late, actually.
It was only in 2006 (if I am not wrong) that I replaced an expensive videogame I'd received as a present with 3 cheaper ones. One of them was "The Sims Deluxe Edition".
Of course I'd heard about this game before, but I didn't know what it was about because at that time I wasn't used to play videogames and I had a very weak Internet connection, with the result that I only used my laptop occasionally.
I soon gave up playing with the other 2 games and I got completely hooked on The Sims.

At the beginning I played with Bob and Betty and actually it took me days in order to make them enough comfortable to be able to improve their house. From then on I started playing with a totally new perspective and it took me very little to realise that I was much more involved in building houses than in simulating life with The Sims.
Since I am a perfectionist I only publish creations that I believe to be at least "acceptable" but, as you may easily notice, I started doing that years after the diffusion of the game (and that's probably one of the reasons why I had not so many downloads, but anyway I'm proud of the few I had!)
In addition, I never bought expansions except the ones included in my first CD (that is, Livin Large and Deluxe).

Only some months ago I got "The Sims 2", as a present as usual, and I'm now publishing my very first creations. As you can see, I keep being behind with one version of the game and maybe I'll get "The Sims 3" when they'll distribute version no. 4!
