I got to know the amazing world surrounding "The Sims" quite late, actually.
It was only in 2006 (if I am not wrong) that I replaced an expensive videogame I'd received as a present with 3 cheaper ones. One of them was "The Sims Deluxe Edition".
Of course I'd heard about this game before, but I didn't know what it was about because at that time I wasn't used to play videogames and I had a very weak Internet connection, with the result that I only used my laptop occasionally.
I soon gave up playing with the other 2 games and I got completely hooked on The Sims.

At the beginning I played with Bob and Betty and actually it took me days in order to make them enough comfortable to be able to improve their house. From then on I started playing with a totally new perspective and it took me very little to realise that I was much more involved in building houses than in simulating life with The Sims.

After some years I got "The Sims 2" as a present and I started publishing my very first creations. When I got "The Sims 3" I was still behind with one version of the game! Years have passed by now and the amount of time I can dedicate to The Sims is getting shorter and shorter unfortunately.
