About me, well I am a forty something grandmother who heard my son laughing at the computer one night and went to investigate...he was playing Sims 1, and his person was not doing as instructed. That started my venture into the Sims world. By the time Sims 2 was released, I was completely hooked! Even purchased a new computer, with the only instruction to the saleman - it had to play Sims 2 and all expansion packs that may be released in the future. By this point my sister was also hooked and now we have simming sessions! Either I go to her house, with computer in tow, and we play or she comes to my house and we play. She has hi-speed internet so now I usually go with the intent to play, but spend the day downloading items that take too long at my house. One day, maybe my part of the world will get hi-speed...but until then Sis allows me to spend the day downloading from TSR! Our children and grandchildren think we have lost our minds, but what do they know...
