Sims 3.. Not happy.
Blogpost added Apr 18, 2009, read 189 times
So today i had some free time on my hands and did a little online surfing on the Sims 3 and im kinda on the fence about whether i should buy it or not when it comes out in June.. The main thing im debating is whether it'll be better then Sims2 which i love.. I don't care about the better graphics or animations becuase im very happy and content with the quality of Sims2 =) .. the only thing that interests me about Sims3 so far is the fact u can customize everything from window shades to shoes (a feautre i wish sims2 had) and the personality traits seem pretty cool too.. but thats about it =\ Im wondering what some of the other sims2 fans on TSR feel about it? and if any1 else has thought about staying with sims2?

I understand how you feel, I hadn't planned on making the move to TS3, but it was pre-ordered for me in December as a birthday gift, so that changed my mind. Then the delay happened and I was like what the heck?... and I lost what little excitement I'd managed to muster up, all over again. But then I turned around and pre-ordered it for my friend for her birthday, and her being excited, has kind of made me excited again. Although, I don't go looking for information on 3 like I did when 2 was coming out. So maybe I'm not as pumped as I think I am....lol. Heck, I've only been to the TS3 site a handful of times. I say do what you like, if you enjoy playing Sims 2, then stick with it! You won't be alone, I don't plan on uninstalling 2 anytime soon, as I like making stuff for it. I don't plan on even opening up 3 until some time in July. Either way, there will be plenty of Simmers out there not moving on to 3.
