I feel the need to address this issue..

bc several young ppl have left me comments on this...

To Clarify my position on uploading paintings which use art from Deviant Art artists..

my stand is this..

i Often Use Wallpaper from free wallpaper sites bc it makes Excellent paintings ...

it does happen that some of the free wallpapers are from Deviant artists...

it also happens that artists names are not usually given on free wallpaper sites...

so until it is brought to my attention i will not Know who the artist is....

occasionally i will be able to see the artists name in the wallpaper link itself...

i always look for it...and if its there..

i give credit to the specific deviantart artist..

also.. i sometimes use top covers from jigsaw puzzles...yup thats right ..puzzles...

and book or magazine covers...

and Posters...

the fact is... some of these are created from deviant artists work..

in the case of puzzles,magazine covers,posters or books..the artists name is usually available....

and All of the Above are Fair Game for sims paintings....

 

Furthermore...

something Everyone needs to take note of..

Famous or On the Rise Famous Artists are Also on Deviant..

it is not just the small time artists anymore...

big time artists are also there now....

i am Not going to ask a famous artist for permission to use their work...

Just bc they are on Deviantart..

so do not hold your breathe on that....

i have not encountered One Single Artist complaining to me...

i have only had Thanx from artists....

the ppl who have left me negative comments...

are Not the artists themselves..

they are just random ppl who are here to dl items for their sims games...

and for some reason think it is their duty to Inform me that i am somehow

violating someone....

and that my character as a human being is less than desirable....

 

 

 

Just for the record..

i do Not go to the Deviantart Site and start browsing artists...

collecting from their galleries and then stealing their art..

it is Not like that...

and i do Not Appreciate when some Downloaders imply i am a thief...

or that i am doing such a thing..

bc i am not..

if i were...

the paintings i was uploading would be sets and sets from deviant artists

with no permission or artist stated...

it is Important to realize..

that as deviantart evolves..

practicallly All artists will be on deviant...

That is what is happening in the past couple of years...

i do Not Appreciate Petty comments...

Telling me to ask for permission 

OR

Telling me i am a thief....

these comments serve no purpose...

i follow the Same rules all the others follow here at TSR..

Also..no artist is being legally violated by having their art on TSR...

no money is being exchanged..

all my paintings are free to members and non members....

if an Artist does not want their art here on TSR...

all they have to do is contact TSR 

and TSR is Respectful of All requests and will comply with the artists wishes..

any comments of this nature and concerning deviantart...

which are left on my uploaded paintings...

will be Deleted by me...

i Delete All Petty comments i encounter...

Okay..Simming has become so Big..that there is speculation on this subject..

no research has been done and prolly never will be official..

BUT..

are Simmers happier ppl??

Simmers as a whole are creative..

they are not prone to do drugs or drink eccessively..

they are generally of above average intelligence...

as in..Most Simmers are University Graduates..

how do we know all this?

bc EA games surveys its customers...

even the average simmer is not rich..

but manages their money with awareness..

yet many spend hundreds on simmming each year..

 

what do YOU think???

Where have i been the past 6 months? moving into a nightmare house which i now have to clean day and night..it is fully furnished..including 10 animals!! anyways..inbetween cleaning i am playing the Classic Sims 1 game..

this is Harry Houdini and his brother Hardeen..Hardeen loves to dance even when he has to pee..i dont do well making sims videos..but this vid makes me laugh :)

This weekend i have begun to download the New Objects created by the TSR community..and all i can say is..it feels like Christmas morning with all these Incredible gifts to us!! i am as joyful as a kid in a toy shop!!! Thank You to Everyone!!! XXOO

just had a quick check of my history..since i have come back for downloads..my download total for the past few days..including and consisting mostly of patterns.. is almost 1,800..my game is already full of thousands of CC patterns..so now it gets fatter..just like santas fat red sack of toys  :)
