Welcome to my member page. My name is Elizabeth, but for the purposes of online things like membership, the forums, and the chat I am Trillian.

Trillian is a reference to the book Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams. One of the characters, specifically a young woman named Tricia McMillan who escapes the destruction of the Earth by leaving a party some years earlier with a man named Zaphod Beeblebrox (who happens to have two heads and three arms), went by the name Trillian for most of the five book trilogy. If you haven't read the books, I highly recommend them.

In this thing people call "real life" I work and play on computers. I much prefer Macintoshes to PCs for my personal use. I own several; a PowerMac G4 450MHz, a 533MHz G3 iBook, PowerMac G5 Dual 2GHz - and my newest toy, a 2GHz MacBook. Ironically, I am stuck on a Windows machine all day because that's what they pay me to program on. Anyone know a Mac software house in or around Williamsburg, Virginia (USA)?

My hobbies include several websites, including one dedicated to the Sims. It's called Keep It Simple and you can find it at http://keepitsimple.bitropolis.com - please stop by and visit when you can. There are things to download plus some other information too. It is sadly out of date at the moment, since life has been keeping me busy. When I'm not on the computer, I read books, watch movies, or work on my scrapbooks. I also play pool usually at least once a week with my friends and coworkers.
