A custom campus

My fellow Mod Deagh, writer of the absolutely incredible De la Sangre legacy, was bemoaning her lack of building skills and her need for a small urban style university for her Legacy challenge.
So, I went off and made a set for her which has now been uploaded so everyone else can use it if they wish.
There is a gym, library, small park, parade of shops, a four room dorm and even a cemetery for when those Sims get really annoying.

I've got a fair number of new lots ready but just haven't had the time to upload them yet.
There's a mixture of large and small, some furnished and some not and a couple of University ones as well.
Life's been a bit manic the last few weeks due to personal reasons and I've just not been about as often. My little boy is growing like mad, five months old now and wanting more and more attention, and we've had a bereavement in the family too which was sudden and tragic so my time at the computer has been limited.
Still, for the couple of you who bother to read my blog ( ;) ) I just wanted to let you know there are works afoot!

As you can imagine, life's been a bit hectic just lately and I've not been around as much as I would like.
I am still creating things in the spare moments I get and I will have some new lots to upload shortly.
Three months

Well, staggering to believe but James is now three months old. He's just been jabbed today for his second lot of immunisations so he's feeling a little bit out of sorts.
But, generally, he's a very good little boy who now weighs 11lbs 4ozs and is 59cm long!

Doesn't time fly! Well, here for all those of you (hello Shirley) who asked for a new picture, is James at two months old.
He now weighs 10lbs 2oz and has had his first lot of injections to protect against various diseases like tetnus and diptheria.
He's generally a happy chappy and has started smiling and gurgling away to himself. At times he sounds like a Sim.
James Alexander Lawrence

Hey guys, quick update for the small number of you wondering where I'd disappeared off to.
I went into hospital to be induced as my baby was nearly two weeks overdue and James Alexander Lawrence arrived at 00.02am on Sunday, March 16th weighing 6lbz 15oz.
We're both home now and doing well and so with a bit of luck I'll get some spare time to do a bit more creating :)
I'd also just like to say thank you to everyone whose popped by my Guestbook and sent their best wishes.
Texture Challenge

I've been getting into trying my hand at recolouring. I'm not the world's greatest yet but I've finally made a whole room set which I like so I've uploaded it.
It was made using Maxis only meshes and textures provided by Svealyn in the TSR Object Editing Forum's Texture Challenge.
Hudson Place

I've decided to do a series of lots which all look similar and so can be placed to create a little mini suburb in your neighbourhoods.
First up is Hudson Place, which has three houses and a grocery store. The houses are all two bedroom but vary in footprint size and can be remodeled with ease.
They are all decorated but have been left unfurnished for you to add your own style.

that Moza is running in the TSR Forums so I've been busy making some special lots and some Christmas wallpaper for whoever I get to make a present for.
They're all little ones which will come unfurnished to let the recipient fill out their home in their own style.
I've also been making some new wallpapers and I've finally got myself a new copy of Sim City 4 Deluxe so I might try making some new templates for neighbourhoods as well.
Other than that, life is same as normal :)
