A few of todays fixesBlog post added Jun 12, 2009
Based on requests we have now added a second price attribute from Sims 3 Residential Lots, meaning you can now enter a price both for the Unfurnished as well as the Furnished version of the Lot. For previously submitted Lots this means the price you entered shows as Unfurnished price. You will soon be able to change the attributes to fix this if it's wrong.

For your custom content submissions, as well as for screenshots, we have now added buttons which you can use if you want to promote/share your creations on Facebook, MySpace etc. It is a certain image you select to share, but the page that is generated for that will have a link back to the original creation. Please make use of this feature as it is a good way of helping downloaders not already members on TSR find your work.

We are currently working on a new submission system which is fully integrated in TSR v7. To start with, this system will only be used for Sims 3 submissions, but we will eventually move Sims 2 submission to this system as well.
Stay tuned for more info.

This week has been has been extremely busy with around the clock work to make some fundamental changes to how pages are generated and reused (cached) on the site, and we have high hopes that this change should improve the stability of the site. We have also invested in a new central storage solution to make sure we have room for all your upcoming Sims creations, as well as stories, screenshots, gallery images etc. Unfortunately we got some stability issues with the way we integrated this new hardware, which forced us into doing the already mentioned fundamental changes. The good thing is that this new setup is much better than the old one.
We are also aware of that some pages might load slow sometimes, especially during high traffic hours. We know where the bottleneck is, and we hope to have a solution for this in the place the coming week.
As an end user, no matter if you're a subscriber or free member, you shouldn't need to care about these very technical details of course. But I just want you all to know that we are working extremely hard to fix any issues that you might experience.
Thanks for your support! :)

We are currently having problem with the server responsible for handling stories uploaded from the Story Wizard, as well as downloading challenge files, programs and PDF tutorials. We are working on fixing the problem, but we don't know at this stage when it can be fixed.
For stories you can still add the stories manually in the story admin in the My TSR section.
Update: The file downloading is fixed now, but the story upload from the wizard will take some more time as we are moving it to a new server. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Update 2: Now story uploading from the wizard should work as well. We're very sorry for the delay in fixing this.

Today a bug with the profile pages that prevent your content to be browsable there has been fixed. However, having the content viewable there also requires our statistics to be updated, and this is something currently running. So if you still can't see your content on your profile page, rest assure that it will show up there very soon.
Today we have also changed so that the "Featured Items" pod that some of you might have added to your profile page by default list you latest creations if you not yet have featured any. If you want to pick what to show there instead, you should find the "Admin" link when viewing your own creations. Clicking it will give you the option to "Feature on Minisite".
We are also currently working on a lot of other things, both bug fixing, missing features, and completely new features. Thanks for your patience, and stay tuned for new updates.
We have also added avatar images to comments and guestbook entries to make them more personal. Wait for the pages cache to clear in case you don't see them yet.
Some minor fixes include the ability to click on a profile/minisite banner to return to their index page. Hovering the members country flag will also display what country it is. Stay tuned for more fixes! :)
