Well, this image was supposed to be the first and cover image of the intro, I have no idea why it ended up showing the second picture twice. This is Amy's very first moments on her new home lot.

Since the pink color was noticed and talked about so much, I feel the need to say for the record - I really really hate pink... But the Rainbow idea is not perfect, since there are 10 generations, 9 of which fully playable (the 10th being born ends the challenge) and a rainbow only has 7 main colors... So I improvised and made the first generation pink, before the main color red. Besides, it's one of the fun things about sims. Making/doing something you'd never make/do in real life. So, back to Amy's life...

So, back to Amy's life...
As much as she didn't like to break away from her career as a journalist, a vacation was forced upon her, so she spent her time reading pregnancy books, getting ready for the addition to family. Don still had no job and didn't show any signs of wanting to get one... So he spent his time improving painting skills and gaining money selling paintings. Being older than Amy, it didn't take much time for him to age to an adult. Can't say he changed much... Amy was still pregnant when that happened. All that "soon-to-come-baby" made everyone forget about Don's birthday, so no parties, no celebrations, no nothing... Don't worry, Don, no wrinkles showing up just yet! On one lovely warm starlit night Amy had to rush to the hospital... Where she gave birth to a baby girl Bethany. Yay! I'm playing a matriarchy (yes, again...), so she will definitely be my heir and continue the legacy. Amy felt so happy, it seemed she loves Don more than ever for giving her this tiny wonder. Amy was so happy that she decided to take the next step and suggest that maybe it's time they become official. Unfortunately, this wasn't Don's idea of perfect future and he refused the offer. Amy couldn't even find the words to describe how disappointed she was. It all seemed to be going so well and she really wanted Bethany to have a complete family... She began keeping herself busy as much as possible. With a baby to take care of and a job to maintain it wasn't too hard to keep occupied. Anything to get her thoughts away from Don's refusal... But those moments with Bethany made it all worth trying. This tiny little sim was Amy's biggest joy in life and her reason to try and move on. While Don was moving on in a completely different sense... Maybe it was Bethany, I don't know, but Don began feeling guilty... He confessed to Amy that he was having an affair with the maid. It didn't come out exactly the way he wanted. Amy wasn't happy about his honesty at all. It seemed things can only get worse... But somehow Don managed to explain that he is sorry and it will never happen again, so he just wanted to take it off his chest and leave behind. Yet Amy really doubted that he can be trusted. Amy's birthday came just as unnoticed, with all the romantic and baby trouble around. Quite soon there was a new maid in the house. They seem to change so fast these days... And Don was torn between his true nature and this new family. He did love Bethany, this girl also had his heart. He almost wanted to make it work for her. Babies grow and time has come for Bethany to become a toddler. She grew up, finally. A little change required... There she is. My two ladies, two generations, Amy and Bethany. This little girl, growing bigger and bigger everyday, has won Don's heart completely. He truly loved her and couldn't deny it any more. Spending some time alone at home with Bethany wasn't a torture, he enjoyed being a stay-at-home-father. Amy!!! What are you teaching her! She'll learn what it's like herself, when she grows up, and with any luck maybe she doesn't have to learn that! Now this needs some explanation... There was this maid... (can't remember the name) And Don fell in love with her... And he rolled up a wish to break up with Amy, so I thought I'd set him up with her and kick him out... But there's this problem, she grew up to an elder by then. So... He just lost interest. There's always younger ones coming in. So there you have it. A so-called family. Amy still adoring Don's perfect body shape, Don still unable to keep his eyes off the maids, and a little girl growing up in all that chaos... Bethany became the only link between them. She loved daddy. Daddy loved her. As for Don and Amy... Well, they barely even talked to each other now...
