Description The Mayor of SimCity will be introducing accessibility laws starting Jan 1 2009 - is your Sim's business ready? Try these modular ramps, which will complement your building's existing architecture! Warning: ramps are steep, wheelchair users are advised to ascend and descend with care.
Creator Notes TSRAA - these will work correctly in lots you share, as long as you follow the installation instructions by clicking the link above! If you don't follow these instructions the stairs won't show up in your game..

This download requires other creations and/or files in order to work properly, you can download them below.
Installation Instructions:
Many thanks to CycloneSue for the following instructions: TO INSTALL YOUR MODULAR RAMPS...
(1) Place the stairs in your 'Downloads' folder as usual.
(2) Find where you originally installed The Sims 2 game (not the expansion packs) and look for the folder TSDataResCatalogScripts. It is usually in THIS location:

And that's it! There'll be a different block of script for each set of modular stairs or ramps you add. More details about installing these ramps can be found here at this forum. Have fun!

This is THE COOLEST!!! I'm popping wheelies and spinning 360's for joy. Now the Sims can go everywhere no matter how they get around. Thank you SO MUCH!
Just to make it easier for you to find the hair and dress for the pictured Sim - the beautiful dress is by our very own ulkrhsn and you can download it here: http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/ulkrhsn/downloads/sims2/sets/clothing/797461/ and the gorgeous hair is by Xandher, and you can download that one here: http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Xandher/downloads/sims2/sets/hair/778477/
That is a wonderful, wonderful idea, Heather! Adds so much more realism to the game, too. You never see public establishments with stairs that don't also have ramps these days. Kudos! Gina
Just follow the installation instructions - they might seem complicated at first but if you go through them step by step you'll get it. I've noticed that the system seems to have got rid of the backslashes from the file path, so you'll find the text file you need to edit here: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Scripts - I hope this helps!
You are genius! I'm so glad the mayor made this important decision. I can now get around Sim City. Now if only I could find a wheelchair as an accessory.
Hi, thank you so much for these ramps. They look really cool. Unfortunately, when I try to modify the catalog file, I'm informed that access is denied. Is this an EA thing, or something in my computer configuration?
