This download has Requirements!Description
After making the fireplace for the African Safari set, I realised not many Maxis paintings can sit above it. So I have created slave meshes of some Maxis paintings and adjusted their height so they sit above the fireplace and not in it. All recolours will show automatically. (boolprop cheat required to centre some)

This has been an irritation for me since I first started playing The Sims 2, but I never knew what to do about it. Why Maxis never thought to position paintings so they'd fit above their fireplaces is beyond me. Thank you so much for correcting their oversight!

Now if only we could position all paintings wherever we wanted just like in RL! It's silly to restrict them to certain areas. Anyway, thank you padre for another brilliant idea to enhance our simming experience.

You are brilliant, you are wonderful, you are amazing .. and you have my eternal gratitude for this set. I'm so impressed that you managed to re-do the object so that recolors of the original work for these paintings as well. I use them all the time in my game - it is so nice to have a painting that hangs properly over the fireplace instead of blending into it! Thank you Padre333!
