hey Mark, how's that Hall coming along? It's been a while since I got any updates. Tbh. I dont know whether if it's because I've become bored with sims or that i've been distracted by other things because I haven't been on in over a week! Mainly coz I was on holiday though. I went down to Plymouth with a couple of friends... not really much of a holiday city is it? xD

no worries. I (probably wasn't) as shocked as you were to see it. And great! I cant wait for it. I am unfortunately having problems with Oakland Hall. Well not the lot itself, more like my computer. Everything is much slower because of all the great detail you put it into it! $\:\)$ So once my heir is of age, i'am afraid im leaving the parents there. But they (meaning the two eldest kids) will return towards the end of their parents lives (i think i might try and throw in some triplets before they leave). That's all for now. I cant wait for that party hall. I'm sure it'll be amazing of course... I just need to make some room to put it somewhere. $\:D$

Yeah I know what you mean about the parks and stuff. and yes! buffet tables , stereo, dancefloor, tables and stuff. I already have the "larger than life" party tables so that would fit perfectly. The dance hall could actually be 2 stories high (or more $\:\)$ ) and obviously it would need some elegant toilets. Oh! And an entrance hall of course! Look at me! Bossing you about! $\:P$ I think basically you just build one of your halls on a community lot like you were building one of your residential halls. Apologies for pointing out the obvious. Thanks Mark, keep up the excellent work, I look forward "glamouring" up Riverview! $\:D$

No kiddin'! I'd love to have a look-see at it. Do you mean a simspack file or some screen shots? Either one would be great! I've thought about getting some castles going in S3 but figured I would wait a while to see what other tools will be delivered in future EP's and SP's. The multi story doors, windows, & pillars worked so well in 2 with these kind of places. I was going to have a stab at Neuschwanstein or Chateau de Chambord just before 3 hit the streets. The last castle I did in 2, I actually maxxed out the available number of wall sections and had to scale things back

Hey Mark, Thanks for the very nice comment about the SID article. They will probably be coming after you some time soon. I know you got invloved with them the same as I did, in response to Madison's post here at TSR. Actually, I'm really glad you contacted me because I've been meaning to contact you to say that you are one of the first people I bookmarked. Your S2 lots were an impetus for some of my early works and it is really great to see you staying at it in the brave new S3 world. Gee, I couldn't help but notice, are you going to have a ho at Buckingham Palace?

Hey Mark! I just wanna say I love Oakland Hall. I'm not usually a fan of large houses, i feel like my sims have too much of a good life but I'm actually really enjoying it! So maybe its your houses that have turned me to spoil them ( although my family actually managed to pay for it themselves, which is a huge achievemaent for me seeing as I used to be addicted to motherlode). Because I'm playing Riverview, I replaced Cottoneye's bunk with it but had loads of spare room in the back yard so I decided to glamour up the garden (I added a pool and pool house, garden patch, driveway with sheltered porch and a maze with that large statue of that dude in the middle $\:P$ ) and it took me over 2 hours! I couldn't believe it! And because of that I really appreciated what you have done and how much time it must have taken. So well done! $\:rah\:$ Would it be ok if I made a request? Could you make a luxurious community lot? I know you wrote in your 'about me' that you're making community lots but I was wondering if you could make a party hall? I had an opportunity for my sim to host a office party and it didnt seem right to host it at the bosses home. Thanks for the home! I think I will be downloading your other lots and bookmarking you! $\:D$
