Thank you so much for the sweet comment on Bromsgrove House.
I went totally mad with the landscaping and I like how the different levels worked.
Now I better get back to building instead of playing the game!

Hi Francien, thank-you for your very lovely comment and compliment. I really appreciate it! Creating for Sims 3 is a bit of a challenge, but I enjoy creating CC and I hate to give that up! Take Care, Carolyn

...Sue wrote this to me regarding the new patch...
"Thank you for the warning, but no problems whatsoever with the patch.
The problems people ARE having seem to be caused by package-file
downloads. These are an incorrect format for the game and it appears
many are now broken. Sims3Pack files don't give any problems I'm very
happy to say. If you're having problems with the patch, ditch anything
in 'package' format and you should be fine."

Thanks for the lovely comment on my Retro Table lamp
I also saw just now that there is another update that apparently fixes the problem. The error code 16 problem. I haven't started the game that many times actually for 2 days but yesterday I tried 'the save as' and it let me override my previous save and then I exit the game. And it was still there the next time I looked. Hugs

am sorry this happened..CarpeDiem said the same thing to me..i see she gave you the info..i had so Many Troubles after installing the last patch..i keep saying cancel on this one when my game starts up bc i dont want more troubles..my funniest problem after the last patch is sims without bodies running around town..but also a lot of other weird things like babies and kids dying..i want to wait and see what everyone complains about on the official site..also..i lost all my CC last time.. in fact..the game would not even start after the last patch and i had to begin by first Installing the game all over..just like i had to do a million times in sims 2 and sims 1..so this time i am going to move all my CC to desktop..then do the patch..then put it all back in..but if this patch is worst than the last one..i just wont use it..i will wait for the next one..i know simmers who are still using the old patch which works with indie mod..i wish i had just stopped at that patch for one thing i loved the indie mod..but oh well...i hope your game works okay now..if you report anything to EA..they dont do a darn thing about it..the most you can do is write it on the forum at the official site.under the proper forum..i think they read that stuff to know what they need to patch..i wish they would Truly test these games before they release them..my husband is giving me the EP and he said it arrived to the house..but i wont get it until Christmas..but i dont know what troubles that will bring as well..i Really want the building tools in it..just like you do..HUGS AND KISSES XXOOXX

Hi hun, you don't need to contact EA for this, when leaving the game use save as, like you save a new game and then all say it's ok after that. I lost my main building hood but that's ok, I only had 2 lots I was working on and I can start again. Hope the day is fine tomorrow

Hey again Francien!
Thank you for the GB sign, was so glad. Yes it is a matter of taste indeed, how boring the world would be if we all had the same style, though what makes our work different is actually our signiture touches. Every lot designer has a way to design a lot, that when anyone see's it, they will say its by him/her, or its his/her style, etc. I love your designs as they look really great, they layout, the structure, landscaping, everything.
As for holidays, we don't have christmas holidays, its different around here, but we celebrate different occasions, and we do have a 1 or 2 day holidays for occasions of different religions. But basically, I will be able to build some lots.
Well, see you soon dear. ~Hugz Light~

Hi hun
I'm doing fine, resting a little, creating some more. Thanks, glad you like what I'm doing and I also think it's fantastic that we can make objects and other stuff for the game. It didn't look like much at first as it was so different from Sims 2. I'm doing stuff from paramiti's wishlist and I will try the bath soon, I'm dragging it as I'm not sure what design I will have on it. Your lots looks great, I don't play big lots much though and I also want to build some more but have no inspiration at the moment. Hugs

Francien - Have I mentioned that when you leave a comment like the one you left on the Aycayia Cove lot (before it was even published, mind you!) that I just get all kinds of excited?
I truly respect and love your detailed lots, so to hear that you noticed my own detailing means a lot to me.
Thank you so very much for your kindness, and your compliments! They meant more than you know.
Love and hugs - Tammy
