Description
On March 9,1959 the world was introduced to a new high fashon icon... Barbie. She was originally born from the imagination of Ruth Handler (1916-2002), who had been inspired by a teenage doll she'd seen in Germany. Barbie is named after Ruth's daughter Barbara. Ruth took her "Barbie" doll idea to Mattel Toy Company who then manufactured the doll. In the years since Barbie has evolved to match current popular trends. Yet one thing remains unchanged... Every little girls love for Barbie. That would also include myself. I was 8 years old when my mother bought me my first Barbie and I still collect Barbie dolls today. This Sim is my 50th Anniversary tribute to Barbie.
