hi sim_freak, i am here to answer your question. well this lot was built when i first purchased the WA EP. i was just so engrossed in travelling that i wanted to build my sim a proper holiday home. i thought most of the buildings really didn't reflect the style i wanted to create. i saw Jisgr8's lot red dragon castle and that sparked it. i researched edo design cues and decided on what would work and what wouldn't i then decided on a theme. Jade is very treasured in asia throughout the centuries so it was a natural choice. i guess i don't really remember building it as once i am in the zone it just flows. its sort of sub-conscious. i was surprised at how well it came out because it was way out of my comfort zone. if you look you can see modern influences so it made me feel like i could pull it off tying in ideas that i had mastered. you could also say my love of anime also played a part of the design direction. ever since i saw samurai X i just fell in love with that period. this build always reminds me of that
