Hi Aimee! Aw...what a cool comment you left me on the Dessirai lot! I'm so happy you like it! I noticed that in your personal info area you mentioned that you were thinking about taking requests for lots! I don't know if you are aware, but we builders kind of have our very own section in the...

Thank you for the nice comments on my lot 'Sundance'!!! I'm glad you like it! If you enjoy building, be sure to get the rest of Cyclonesues Alpine Window set (and a great tutorial on how to build with them) at her mini-site. -John

About Me

Hey, I'm Aimee. I'm a 33 year old computer technician, who fell head over heels in love with the original Sims years ago. When the Sims 2 came out, I think I lost many nights of sleep, and maybe a couple of friends when I became so obsessed with playing. Now I'm eagerly awaiting the Sims 3 so I can do it all again, lol.

Once again, I've drifted away from my obsession that is the Sims. I've basically been quite busy working, and don't have a lot of time for play anymore. But, I've reinstalled all my Sims 2 stuff, and am slowly but surely working my way back into the Sims world.

I do not know how much creating I'll be able to get to this time around. It tends to take me quite a while to work on a house, which is what I prefer creating, and my time is very sparse these days. I help my dad run a computer repair business on a military base, and thankfully business is doing quite well.

Being a writer (poetry mostly), I can be creative; when writing. I'm not all that creative when it comes to thinking up my own designs for houses and such. When I create a house, it comes from real life housing floor plans. I actually have a couple of books full of them that I use when creating. I try to get my Sims houses as close as I possibly can to the actual plans. While this means that my houses aren't anywhere near as creative as some of the ones designed by the spectacular artists on here, they would be workable in the real world.

Here's something new that I want to try during this go round of my creating. Requests. If you see a real floor plan that you absolutely love, and can send it to me, then I will do my best to recreate this in the Sims 2 world for you. If you have something, send me a private message through the forums or site (if through the site is possible), and I'll tell you how to email the plans to me. It might take a few days to a week for me to get it done, with the time constraints I have right now, but I'll get it done as soon as possible. Then I'll upload it here, and send you a message letting you know it is done.

Anyway, there's my not-so-short reintroduction. Thanks for stopping by!
