After spending hours with EA- nothing solved, finally received an email from Elaine, a representative with EA, based in Ireland, and phone calls back and forth, it was finally decided that I needed to play the game without CC, and it worked. So I removed all CC and now I am adding some of it back one at a time to see what was causing the problem. Very time consuming. And very grateful that a lovely girl from Ireland who took an interest to find out if the fellows in India were doing their job. Thank you for your interest. Remember this if someone else has a similar problem.
