More stuff
Ok, so I've made 9 lots to date (1 with 2 sims included) so I figure I'll upload some of the sims I've created. They're pretty much some extreme types. Such as lazy and big, thin and poor, filled out and fit, bulked up and evil, to name some. Hope you all enjoy my ideas.
Next up - The Beaufort!
I've finished another home in the Sweetwater Loop Estates series! Yay me!!!
I have another one on the go, but I'm curious to know, they are mostly bungalows in this community, would you like to see a few multi story homes as well? There are a couple of floor plans in the collection that I think would just look better if they were multi story. What do you think?
Incidentally - if you are a world builder and would consider building a world for me to put them in - Sweetwater sounds like a nice name to me... - please let me know! I have some great ideas for it, but no concept or ability to build a world myself.
Happy Simming!
New stuff soon
Not been on in a while :( Monitors broke and tryin to edit on a wee 17" after using 22" wide is no fun. Just finshed a new glass railing and fence set which is the first part of my new build set. just finshing new stairs then posting looking at adding new doors, windows, Columns and gate in near future.
Not as back as I would love to
Hey guys, apparently adult life doesn't like me to play with the Sims anymore :(...It's been like crazy! Well as an update, I'm starting a new career :D (Culinary!) and yeah it's time consuming! So I've been making an effort to continue giving you the best male clothing out there just be patient!
P.S. I'm also getting used to the new Workshop software and the creepy model there-yikes!
Computer problems grraaahh!

Yes I have been looking like this for months now! However, I have bought myself a new "best friend" but I still have to reinstall all the programs and so on :/ Just so you guys know, I wont be gone 4ever. I have some request in my mailbox and I wont be able to help you with these, sorry :(
We're getting closer!
Hello again my fellow readers! I just wanted to let you know that all of the pictures are uploaded and I'm now down to writing the story for each. That means that in the next couple of days, you will definitely be reading chapter one! Sorry it's taking me a bit; I want it to be perfect for you. Thanks for your patience. :)
I'm on a Holiday, Take Care!
Hi Guys!
I'm going to rest a little bit after my exhausting exams. I really need this
... I won't be there for about a month or 2 months! I added Sims 2 and sims 3
items for you to enjoy my creations during my holiday. You can
visit my upcoming items .
Take care yourselves, Hugs and kisses* Simay!

Mission Impossible completed...
Well, I must be a glutton for punishment because I decided that little table I couldn't make work was boring anyway... why not try a big table instead! So after hours of wrangling with tutorials, photoshop, uv mapping, etc I produced a table. I was so excited until I realised I had barely even started the work as now I had to make multipliers and rbg maps and I must have redone them countless times and still my table side is not quite right, but if I ever have to look at that table again outside of a screenshot nothing good will happen!
Then table needed chairs and I had these annoying coloured lines all over the edges and I couldn't find any solution for hours... until finally I hunted down the culprit specular behind a maze of menus and options... argh!
Naturally I can see flaws in the design everywhere, but, I can also see how I could fix them with some better planning and with all that I learnt making them (I just can't do anymore with these ones and keep my sanity!). So I'm going to upload them flaws and all, just because I am kind of proud of them, even though I'll probably look back and cringe when I get better at this.
All in all I'm glad I took the time to do this, and I have barely scratched the surface so there is loads to keep me busy!
Sims 3 Story
Hi all...
It's been a lil while since I was last on here. This is because unfortunately my PC decided to do one on me and crashed...and crashed bad. To the point I lost everything....including all my game saved files etc.
So all my creations, screenshots and my Sims 3 story I was halfway through have all gone.
Gutted.
But low and behold I am back and have just re-installed everything. Once I get some new content on the go I shall be back on here more often.
Toodles xx
Set back in building
Sorry that it is taking me so long to produce another lot but recently I've had some personal problems that has set me back, way back and it is taking it's toll. I don't even feel like building but once I get my life in order I will be back bigger then ever. Until then, hang in there and if you want to Pm me I can tell you what's going on, I just don't want to go into detail here. Thanks for listening and may God bless you all!
CC and my uploads
Well, since I'm still a little new to the world of creating & uploading I just realized/figured out/finally clicked/etc something. I know some may think "Well duh, about time" but hey, like I said I'm still new. .package file CC does not show up automatically in the "Items used in this lot" area of the upload like the .sims3package files do. In addition, any of the .package items used in the creation wont transfer to the person that downloaded it unless they too have that .package file.
So, my main point here is, I've downloaded and have used to many different CC's that it's a little hard to remember which are which. So in turn some of my uploads may not look complete once in game after you download them, such as "Deerwalker Estate" wont have windows, garage clutter, or some other items like some furniture. Sadly this is trial and error but also a learning process.
If anyone has a (what looks to be) an unfinished download from me and doesn't want to bother adding what isn't there let me know and I'll update the lot.
I'm Back!!!
Yes! Thank god for Nraas Master Computer! I now have all my sliders back and some more! I have made a few more sims (probably not as popular but fun to make all the same). I hope every one had as great a day as I did today. Not that I did anything special, just that My little guy (3) and I were able to get out of the house for the first time in 2 weeks. He was climbing the walls and I'm pretty sure my hair started to fall out, but after 2 weeks of various seasonal illnesses, the rain wasn't going to stop us! We went looking for a second car with his daddy. Tomorrow he goes back to preschool (1 day a week) and I'm ready! All planned!
If you have commented on my sims and I haven't thanked you, I thank you now. I'm having problems posting on peoples profile pages. I'm probably doing something stupid. I'll figure it out.
Happy Simming Every one!
House building perhaps?
So apparently, I have taken a bit of a liking to building houses...as some of you may have seen, I have dabbled in the 10x10 lot. There is another one pending, that if approved, I hope you all will like...thus far my favorite small house to date. But we shalll see where all of this house building goes.
I took a bit of a que from Degera and have decided to make up some of the houses I have seen, lived in, or just been privvy to visit...the first of (hopefully) many will be my fathers house. He has worked very hard to earn the size house he is currently residing in, and it will take me a bit of time to complete...after the first 2 hours, I am still not done with the first floor.
Final note, I am making every effort to make each house base game compatible as to allow everyone to be able to enjoy. If there is an item used in the house, I will be sure to post the item/s for download before putting the "house on the market"
Cheers!

New Patch and it's effects
Well, due to the newest patch, for a while I couldn't figure out which of the 700+ files I've downloaded didn't work anymore. Luckily I found the (1) and everything is back to normal. I'll probably be updating some of the lots I've uploaded here so keep an eye out.
Back On Track!
Wow. That was painful! But I'm back in business after my game crash!
I've still been uploading of course haha! No crash was ever going to stop me. But now I've managed to work the glitches out of my game that appeared after the 'incident', it's all good.
So, now I'm working on Version 2 of one of my early sims. Trixie was supposed to be a fairy... She ended up looking more like a smurf, and I wasn't completely happy with her. She's being edited right now, and should be done within the week :D I'll be releasing V2 as a separate download though, and she's staying the same colour! I think she likes being blue, so we'll keep her that way!
I've got a couple of celebrity requests on the go too, but those are just personal requests from friends, and are pretty low on my priority list. We'll see how they turn out when I get the chance to finish them off! I'm a total perfectionist though, and I won't stop until I get them exactly right! This could take a while...
I've also started helping out on Yahoo Answers - there are so many trolls on that site it's unbelievable, but I had a look just to see what all the fuss was about and there were so many sims questions! I think I've found my calling haha! :D I love helping people, I might even turn my other blog (http://scribblingsbyme.blogspot.com/) into a more tutorial based... thing. I've got my package file installation guide up there, but I have tons more I could do!
TSR is always going to be my highest priority though!

Medieval
When I am able to afford Sims Medieval it will be great as I can start to make the kit on TSR workshop to reflect early Anglo Saxon through to late period (450AD to 1066AD).
Pic is myself and Paul Mortimer as Hlafod Merewyn and Raedwald Cyning (Lady Merewyn and King Raedwald), Paul in full Sutton Hoo kit made by Dave Roper. I am in Frankish kit.

Old Town Tales - Introduction
Old Town is the neighborhood in Sims 2 that I designed to recreate my Sims 1 families. The most difficult part to bringing all those Sims back is establishing the family trees and relationships I "assigned" to them. Before, I could get Sims to move in, and then label them what I would--brother, sister, cousin, etc.--and that would be that. This time, I have to do things a bit more carefully. How else could I get one man with four children from four different mothers, or a woman with four children from four different fathers? Or recreate the ghosts that haunted my Sims 1 homes?
As a result, I'm starting many of the families at least 1 generation back--sort of like Sims 3, except that this is Sims 2 and I'm not paying much attention at all to all the details that arose during the transition from Sim 1 to Sims 2 (e.g., Bella's disappearance, deaths of elders, etc.). So, in Old Town--for now, at least--Generation One is Gunther and Cornelia Goth's and Ginia Kat's (and Mama Hick's since it otherwise doesn't make sense) generation. Except, here they're all younger--that is, they're all adults. A few concessions I've made to Sims 2's (and Sims 3's) timelines is that Bella and Michael Bachelor are brother and sister, and Cornelia Goth is Agnes Crumplebottom's sister. One other issue: the ghosts that haunt the Goth mansion, despite what various sources say, are not going to be Bachelors, etc. Instead, they will be all Goths (as would seem more appropriate for a family estate, I would think) from the generation prior to Gunther (that is, Grandpa and Grandma would be Gunther's parents--and therefore Mortimer's grandparents, while Uncle and Aunty would be Gunther's aunt and uncle) and Gunther's generation (in this case, Cousin and Vegas are Uncle and Aunty's sons). Because I would feel uncomfortable forcing the creation of child ghosts, I will deviate slightly and have Bratty (who will be Vegas' illegitimate daughter by an unknown mother) and Boy (who will be Cousin's son through an as-yet undetermined marriage) survive and NOT become ghosts. Well, maybe later, but that remains to be seen.
Once I get all my families onto Generation Two--the generation of Mortimer and Bella, Michael Bachelor, the Roomies, the Burbs, Claire Charming, Elden Hick--I can finally start the Old Town Tales in earnest. Including adding the Maxis-made Sims families: the Mashugas, the Snootypatootys, the Jones, the Valentinos, the Maximus, and the Hatfields. And then, of course, it will be time to add in the Sims 2 families already sitting in my family bin: the Travelers, et al.
A couple of things to note, though. Whatever I wrote in this blog before...while I'll try to recreate their lives according to the entries, somethings I will change things simply because I want to avoid excessive confusion and simply because I have to. I'm not 100% sure that elders can marry adults, so I will probably change certain things there. I'm also going to have to change at least 1 family name because, not counting families that will be splitting anyway and starting separate branches (e.g., the Goth family), there will be a conflict between one of the families I made and one the Maxis made.
One new thing: with the change in child-rearing between Sims 1 and Sims 2, and the amount of time it takes, I've created 3 new families who weren't in my Sims 1 game, for the sole purpose (more or less) of providing childcare services to the other families. They'll move in to the other families' homes and help raise the babies and toddlers to childhood, at least until there's a teenager able to meet the siblings when they come home from school at 3 p.m. Then they'll move out, taking with them $20,000 when the do so, and move back into their original family homes, adding to their bank accounts a small but welcome sum.
Whether or not they ultimately get their own stories, I'll just have to wait and see. Their names, though are the Almamater family, the Foster family, and the Nanny family. The Almamaters consist of Anna Almamater and her two grown children Brian and Cheryl--Cheryl is the one who will move in and out. In the Foster family, mother Zelda has retired, but while her son Yancey will take care of her and provide for her with a salary and career, her other two children Xenia and Wyatt will be caring for other families' children. The Nanny family is big--headed by Woodhouse and Velma Nanny, and counting their six sons and daughters, Byron, Agatha, Gordon, Francesca, Lucas, and Karen. Byron, Gordon, and Francesca are the go-getters in the family, fully intent on having careers, while Agatha, Lucas, and Karen will inherit their parents' previous roles as childcare providers to others.
Although I'm not certain, I believe that the Almamaters, Fosters, and Nannys will not age the same way as the other families do...instead, I think I might have them continue to provide childcare for multiple generations. Or, I may change my mind and have them acitvely participate in the childbearing process by generating their own offspring here and there. Not sure yet, though.
And now, one last thing. Although by rights most of the elders should eventually die, I will probably end up moving them (and any other Sims I don't have a real use for) into "retirement homes." So, for example, any families that didn't have Generation One in my Sims 1 game will see their parents move out of the family homes and into these apartment complexes, out of the way, where they can live in sort of self-contained communities (maybe) or just be ignored. Or I'll let them age and pass away and their heirs can inherit. I haven't quite decided yet...but with the Apartment option, I can store them off to one side and forget about them.
So, will the family populations in Old Town explode? Will there be a real story behind Old Town's creation? When will Mortimer Goth discover the ghosts in his family's mansion? Wait and see!
3 New lots, awaiting completion XD part 2
So one eco-styled building is awaiting for other two buildings, in the last minute i understood that the cudal tower is just too simple, so i'll do something to it, so it wouldn't look so lame XD, the NYC-Stalin's building, only need just some final touches, like benches, and path on the ground. Everything else is already ready.
So three preview screenshots of them, they still have just codenames, and not normal names, because i'm a little bit out of imagination for names today, but i'll come up with something i think =)
Shield Tower
This huge masive tower (32 floors, three fully working floors: 1, 21, 32), made of concrete, with fullheight tiled glass, with shields, all over the building. IT's suits for expensive launge, or huge high-wealth VIP restaurant place, because this tower will be the heighest one playable, the other one planed, will be not playable, and will work as a rabbit-hall business-journalism office.

Shield Accomodations
This high-rise has 20 floors, also with shields all over the building. It has two flats per floor, and your flat is faced to the bridge.

Bayside Apts
It's NYC-Stalin's styed building, to match the warwick apts, it has 23 floors. huge lobby, and in fact you can have a grocery store rabbit-hole in it, using jynx rabbit-hole rugs for resdinetial lots.

So i'm still working on them. they'll be ready in 6-7 hours, +\- 4 hours.
And the re-skinning resumes!
The issues I was having have been resolved, and I am now going to be working on getting even more vehicles reskinned to various professional and college sports teams. With that in mind, I am willing to ask for suggestions of the teams you might like to see, and if you have a preferred in -game vehicle (meaning it already exists in-game) then just ask!. The main reason i am currently not offering custom made vehicles is due to the fact that with work, I simply do not have that much time on my hands.
Hope all is well with everyone out there, I look forward to seeing some of your suggestions:)
Learning to create objects!
Today I had my first stab at creating an object... having previously got as far as loading up the .pdf document, looking at the amount of work involved and closing it again :D
So, armed with the relevant programs and the awesome tutorials written by the people on this site I grabbed the bull by the horns. I would like to say I have now made a fantastic object we can all be happy with, but what I got was a little table with the woodgrain running the wrong way (even though I'm sure I sorted that!).
I have even more huge respect for the people who make the detailed lovely items for the game now, because after 1 unfinished basic table I thought my brain was going to explode!
Well tomorrow is another day, I will finish that table if it kills me...
Time Keepers Update
I've received a lot of kind feedback on my story so far, and I wanted to say thank you! As this is a book I've been working on for a while, I have sets created in my mind that I'm trying to translate into the sims so that the story makes sense to me. So right now I'm working on creating a couple of sets to ensure the story stays true to myself. However, I should be able to get chapter one out in a few days; I'm working on the last set, and all of the wonderful creations on this site are helping move the process along.
Also, is anyone interested in me uploading the characters? Let me know if you want them and I'll be sure to do so. Thanks again for all of the positive feedback! It really means a lot to me. :)

Generations! (And rambling about weddings, gushy gushy woman stuff.)
When I'm finally able to afford Generations on Monday or Tuesday...
It's going to be so super awesome! I haven't seen much of it yet but just reading about Bachelor and Bachelorette parties made me smile. When my Sims get married it's a big deal to me. I photoshop them up some Wedding invites and everything! But, these will be super awesome additions to my game to make it more realistic for me. I LOVE WEDDINGS AHHHHH!!!! I'd say about half of my downloaded content in my women's formal wear is all wedding dresses. I even have some bridesmaid's dresses and little flower girl dresses for toddlers and children. I made a wedding dress based on a Maggie Soterro dress as well as my first clothing mesh about a week ago and I'm actually very pleased with it. I will eventually put it up for download but only after I've used it for one of my own Sims' weddings. I can't imagine some Simmer out there in the world using my own first creation before I do! :P
not much here in the moment!
Hi everyone!
I'm not much here in the moment, one reason is real life(so much to do!),another is I don't do anything new, don't have the passion in the moment and alot of my friends here are not much here anymore as well!I still look for the downloads and stories but if I don't write as much in your GB,you know now why!
Building A New Home
Well... I've never submitted to TSR before, but I've been thinking about it. I've submitted to one or two other places, mainly on forums. I've even tried to submit to MTS (didn't go so well). I like to build houses, but I tend to stick to country cottages or farm houses. What can I say? I grew up around them and they're one of my favorite types of housing!
If anyone reads this, I'd really appreciate some tips on what would make my submission an excellent one. I'd also appreciate ideas on what to include and how big it should be. I'm going to try to do a CC free house (HAHAHAHAH...CC free... I'll be nuts by the end of the night).
Bugger!!
Bugger!!!!!!!! I just updated - need I say more? Am I never going to learn. I mean "REALLY" . Every time I update its the same 'ol same 'ol. Fiddle my way through gazillions of mods restarting the game over and over to see which ones need updating, then for the next few weeks keep checking for the updates while meanwhile - "I CAN"T CREATE SIMS!" - well not properly. So - I don't know how long it's going to be. I intend on creating a few sets. But I need to be able to start the game first....hohummmmmm.......hi ho hi ho.....
Thanks in advance
If there is one thing I love more than anything, it's writing. I've been searching for a place to begin writing sims stories again, and like usual I started with the sims 3 exchange, only to quickly become disgruntled. I'm glad I found a space on here to submit stories for feedback, and I'm really looking forward to hearing what people have to say, as well as building a reputation on this site. If you can help me get my books published, then I will do anything you want in my stories! I look forward to working with each and every one of you!
Amanda
June 12th, The Classic Collection
It’s a collection of classic and traditional bedroom furnishings and scheduled for publication on June 12, 2011. The collection features a massive four-post bed, a dresser with mirror, an animated dresser, tufted chaise lounge, a throw, antique wall clock (decorative only), a smaller version of the potpourri double-globe table lamp, nightstand, flowers in a vase, cushioned bench, and several decorative paintings in an ornate frame. The set is suitable for a male or female Sims.
Initially, I created The Classic Collection mirrored dresser, bench, and nightstand for the French Chateau set, but when I saw the furnishings in game next to the French Chateau bed, I realized they didn't match--the styles are too different. LOL, what was I thinking!
The antique wall clock is one of my favorite set objects, unfortunately it is decorative only! I really tried to make it functional and I spent 2 days working with S3PE and a RIG editor trying to lower joints, but no go! I hated to trash the mesh, so while it looks good in game it doesn't work! In RL I have a similar clock in my living room, which I never put batteries in--its loud tick, tick, tick drives me crazy!
Happy Simmings,
Carolyn

"I have tried downloading this house into two different neighborhoods in my game - Barnacle Bay and Riverview. The house does not show up! It does not have the empty house icon when I put it on a lot, instead it just has the empty lot icon. I can't see any part of the house/lot at all when I put it in my game. Do you have any idea why this is happening? This lot is AWESOME looking in your pictures and I have the perfect couple to put in this house. Any tips on how to get it to show up?"
Dear Gtrgrl, I tried to download now with the browser "Mozilla Firefox" and it downloaded just 2.97 MB and shows an empty place (it become with the other creations that I had downloaded from EA or TSR). I do downloading with the "Internet Explorer" exclusive.
I erased the file from the Sims 3 "Downloads" and downloaded with the "Internet Explorer" .. It is 5.24 GB and it shows the castle at 6 worlds (1 hours to install everywhere ;D)-Riverview, Sunset Valley, Twinbrook, Bridgerport, Neverglade, Silent Hill (the last two worlds I've downloaded from the creators of the EA). Unfortunately I don't have «Barnacle Bay» .
Maybe you can try to download with some other browser .
JCIssette wrote :
Someone downloaded it and is complaining that the castle is not showing up in their hood when they place it. It sounds like they have a bug in their game. There is a bug that causes the houses to fade away and not be seen from hood view. If not, then I don't know. ... to delete the lot from the library bin, and the lot where it placed . Then redownload the lot. One thing that she should check before doing that is to make sure the lot that is trying to place on doesn't have that little house icon it. Thank You Dear Judy
3 New lots, awaiting completion XD
Okey, for this day i've done 3 lots, 2 residential and one commercial high-rises, one from the old-times NYC style, and two in eco-design style, with sun screens to catch the light XD *fictional of course*. Residentials will be decorated throughout, but the commercial one, will decorated outside, you'll decide what it'll be inside. To make you curious the commercial skyscraper is 32 floors, you have an option of furnishing 3 floors, main hall - first floor, city view area - 21 floor, and the last one 34th floor, also it's possible to add a staircase on the roof if you want to, but there is a massive steel pyramid XD, so there is no much space on top of it XD. The eco-styled residential, is not so high, 20 floors, you flat is on 20th, i think i'll take diagonal part, for "active sim" apt because it's have a good views, and it's on rather good side *i mean on sunny side*. The old-times tenant, is look like a one from Moscow Stalin's High-rises *Hotel Ukraine, MSU or any other from that 7 buildings*, but it's more NYC'ed, so it will suit the other planned buildings, and the Warwick Foundation. So for 2day it's the end, i'm gona go sleep XD G'night everybody =)) ^_^
